Why do I have painful sex with very small size?

Patient's Query

I have very small because I have very painful during sex

Answered by Dr. Nisarg Patel

It's important to know that pain during intercourse can be caused by a variety of factors, including insufficient lubrication, anxiety, or even certain medical conditions like infections or endometriosis. In some cases, anatomical differences or size discrepancy between partners can also contribute to discomfort. I'd recommend speaking with a gynecologist who can assess your situation more thoroughly. They can offer guidance on ways to alleviate the pain, such as using lubricants, trying different positions, or exploring other treatment options if needed.

Dear Doctor, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to discuss some concerns that have been affecting my mental and sexual health, specifically related to my use of pornography and its broader impact on my life. I am a male, 26/27 years old. No health issues. I've noticed that my consumption of pornography and engagement in cybersex have escalated to a point where they negatively affect my life and relationships. My need for increasingly explicit material to achieve sexual arousal has grown over the years (a phenomenon called "Desensitization" i believe), and it's become apparent that this pattern is not sustainable. I've observed that this habit has not only affected my ability to enjoy real-life sexual encounters but has also contributed to the deterioration of my previous relationship. At times, I had found myself needing to think of pornography to maintain an erection during sexual intercourse. In an attempt to address this, I've tried to quit watching porn, only to experience a significant drop in my libido and desire for sexual activity. This "flat line" phase, as it's often referred to in various forums, has left me feeling worried and uncertain about the path forward. Of course, i started watching again, just to make sure that everything is normal. The first couple of times, the erections were weaker than usual. I understand that the body of scientific research in this area is still evolving, and there seems to be a lack of definitive guidance on dealing with these challenges. Given these complexities, I'm seeking your professional advice on several fronts: 1- Is the "flat line" phase a recognized scientific phenomenon, and what does current research say about it? 2- Considering my concerns about the long-term effects of abstaining from pornography and reduced masturbation, what guidance can you provide? I'm particularly worried about maintaining sexual function, including erectile strength and ejaculation control. 3-Could you suggest any scientific, medical research articles or resources that could offer more insight into these issues? Your expertise and any evidence-based recommendations would be immensely valuable to me as I consider my next steps. Many thanks for your time and consideration. Kind regards,

Male | 26

It is crucial to realize that gaining an excessive amount of pornography and cyberspace ultimately results in being desensitized, and it has a negative impact on sexual encounters with real living partners and relationships.

The "flat line" effect, that you brought up, is also a commonly displayed problem where former porn addicts may experience a drop in their sex drive and arousal. But for now, the findings are not substantial, more studies are required to distinguish porn effect on sexual function from its own.

With regard to facilitation, many people have found it immensely helpful to consult a professional mental health care provider, such as a therapist or a counselor, and avail their expert help in dealing with this problem and addressing any underlying psychological factors. A sex therapist may possess skills in counseling individuals with sexual dysfunction or enhancing sexual functions.

Your well-being is of top concern and seeking the help of a mental and sexual health specialist can provide you with the needed information when making a decision about your next step. In this connection, I suggest you talk to a psychologist or sex therapist, whose main professional concern is the issues you are experiencing, for more help and support.

Best regards,
Dr. Madhu Sudan

Sir can’t ejaculate during intercourse

Male | Chandan

It seems to be a problem of delayed ejaculation which might be a condition that Sir could be experiencing when he is not able to ejaculate during sex. It can occur because of several reasons such as anxiety, some medications, or damage to the nerve. Stimulating Sir to express his thoughts without inhibition with a healthcare provider can be the best way to determine the source. Treatment may include counseling, changing medications, or other ways that match Sir's specific situation to get him out of the problem.

Baby ko ek sal ho gaye lekin sex karne ka man nahin karta hai Pati Se dur ban gai hai

Female | 26

It's completely normal for a baby to affect intimacy between partners. When a woman becomes a mother, her focus naturally shifts to caring for her child, which can sometimes lead to a decrease in sexual desire. Stress, fatigue, hormonal changes, and body image issues post-pregnancy can all play a role in this. It's important to communicate openly with your partner about how you're feeling. Taking time for yourselves as a couple, seeking support from loved ones or a counsellor, and incorporating small gestures of affection can help rekindle that connection.

I am 20 year old female, during an intercourse today we felt something liquid even after using protection what should I do

Female | 20

Yes, fluid exchange may happen even though one uses a condom. In case your worries are regarding it, the most advisable thing to do is to keep an eye on yourself for any symptoms that are not normal for you, such as the ones mentioned as itching, burning, or unusual discharge. One of the advantages of being aware of how your body is functioning is that noticing any changes can help you determine whether it is necessary or not to go for further advice.

You are advised to see a urologist or a specialist in sexual health for diagnosis and treatment accordingly. They can propose some sort of medication therapy, lifestyle changes or therapy aimed at boosting your sexual health. It is imperative to consult a medical expert instead of relying on self-treatment options.

Male | 31

Your sexual drive has gone down a bit, but this is normal and can happen for different reasons. Factors like stress, fatigue, diet, and substance use (like marijuana) can affect libido. Additionally, low sexual desire could be a result of hormonal changes or health problems that you have. To deal with this, try to eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly, cut down on marijuana, manage stress, and maybe see a doctor for further tests and advice.

Hello, Dr.! My girlfriend and I had a sexual encounter. We had oral sex and fingered each other. However, our genitals accidentally touched two or three times for a few seconds each. There was no penetration during the deed; just the Penis touched the vulva; there was no rubbing or ejaculating anywhere near her (I ejaculated 5-10 mins after the touching of our genitals). But I was scared because of the genital touching and fingering (I did not ejaculate on my hand and after ejaculation I did not touch her genitals and I did fingering before oral sex), so I began reading articles on the internet, and all of them stated that there is a chance of getting pregnant because pre-cum contains sperms. She also had her periods on June 10, 2022, and we were engaged in this action on June 19 , 2022. She also took an i-pill within 24 hours as a precaution. Is there any hope of becoming pregnant?

Male | 27

No chance of pregnancy
