Why is my vaginal external itching and painful?

Patient's Query

My valva external part of vagina is itching both sides and on left side theres a little bump there its paining when i touch there

Answered by Dr. Anju Methil

You might be dealing with a vaginal infection or irritation. These can happen due to various reasons like a yeast infection or allergic reaction to soaps or detergents. The bump you mentioned could be a cyst or a swollen gland. It's important to avoid scratching to prevent any further irritation. I recommend wearing cotton underwear, avoiding scented products, and gently washing the area with water. It would be best to have a check-up with a dermatologist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Missed periods and pain on the right side of your stomach can have various causes. Why I didn't got period from past 2 months can you suggest me Any tablets

Female | 18

Your period missing 2 months, that's concerning. Stress, weight shifts, hormone issues, or medical conditions could cause this. Visiting a gynecologist is smart; they'll help pinpoint the reason. Maybe prescribe meds or advise lifestyle tweaks to normalize your cycle. When menstrual changes happen, get expert guidance wise. They'll examine, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions suited just for you.
