Hello sir i have 4 year old son and he has pinio blastoma tumor can we give him immunotherapy and what is the success rate of immunotherapy and what will be its cost
Male | 4
Your son got diagnosed with pineoblastoma, a brain tumor type. This affects mostly kids. Headaches, throwing up, eye issues, and feeling wobbly happen. Immunotherapy may help his immune system against the tumor. It works sometimes but not always. Side effects exist too, and costs matter. Your son's oncologist knows best about this treatment option.

In December I had a ct scan for stomach as well as an exrsy for chest ..January got an exray for suspected broken arm . This month February I want to have a mammogram. Is it safe after all the radiation
Female | 72
It seems to be significant what the radiation level of each image test should be. The level of radiation from the tests you have been given is most likely safe, but don't expose yourself more than is necessary. It is advisable to see a specialist like a radiologist or oncologist if you have any worries and to take the best action.

My name is Pratima. Just a few days back my grandmother was diagnosed with colon cancer treatment (1st stage). She is 75 now. As she is quite aged, is there any chance of growing again? Or is there any life risk even post operation? As she is quite aged we are really worried. Please help.
Surgery is to be done to get the disease out of body and prevent it's spread elsewhere in body. There is always a chance of spread of disease in Colon cancer, so regular follow ups with oncologist are very important to check any spread. Age factor does matter in case of recovery post surgery. General condition of the body matters alot for proper recovery post surgery.

Female | 45
In stage 3 gallbladder cancer the cancer spreads to all nearby tissues or lymph nodes. While it's more advanced, it is not necessarily incurable. It can be treated with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. It would be best if you visit a cancer specialist near you for a personalised advice about her treatment soon.

I had pain in my armpit without lumps and even body aches, fatigue, bloating, reduced appetite and breathlessness occasionally. So I consulted general physician, he checked but no lumps found and he said due to panic regarding this lump I was getting all symptoms. But he suggested for thyroid and usg whole abdomen. Yesterday the reports came in which stated only cysts were found and nothing serious. But two days ago I observed a small pea size lump on my neck and stinging pain radiating in my body and hoarness. And yesterday I observed a swollen abdomen with pain What should I do. I fear it's cancer. I observed all this within a week of time
Female | 23
It’s good that you consulted a general physician and got tests done. Since you’ve now noticed a lump in your neck, hoarseness, and other symptoms like body pain and abdominal swelling, I recommend visiting an endocrinologist or oncologist. They are specialists in thyroid and other conditions that might need further examination. It’s important not to jump to conclusions but to get proper advice from a specialist for peace of mind and accurate diagnosis.

Namaste, My father lives in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and is in terminal stage of cancer. It started as oral cancer which was removed surgically but unfortunately has metastasized to his lungs and now his liver. He took 6 rounds of chemotherapy, but it spread anyway. He is at end of life now and we are desperately looking for Ayurveda treatment or options that can ease this situation.
Male | 65
Metastasis means the cancer has spread to other body areas. The terminal stage signals the disease's progression. Pain, weakness, and no appetite are symptoms. Ayurveda uses herbs and healthy practices to ease discomfort and lift life quality. But consult an expert to plan the ideal ayurvedic treatment approach for your dad's specific case.

37 year old female who has nail-patella syndrome. Has had a kidney transplant but has failed. On home dialysis now and constantly throwing up and chronic cough. Severe fatigue and weight loss. Diagnosed with lymph node cancer recently. She needs some kind of help.
Female | 37
These troubles are likely coming from your underlying conditions and treatments. One prescription is the discuss these symptoms with your healthcare team since they might change your dialysis or medication to make you feel more comfortable. Palliative care, together with also nutrition guidance and medications for nausea and fatigue, can be quite helpful, so should be combined with supportive therapy. Furthermore, ALS patient receives a cancer certificate, so close engagement with his/her oncologist is critically important.

Persistent throat pain can have many causes.. and while smoking is a known risk factor for throat cancer, it doesn't necessarily mean you have cancer if you experience throat pain. There are many other possible reasons for throat discomfort, like infections, allergies, acid reflux, or even smoking-related issues like irritation and inflammation.
