I had spot on forehead since I had my op ten weeks...and it really itchy I know I haven't got scabs or whatever...but it really really itchy
Female | 44
You are having an itchy sensation around that area on your forehead where the surgery was performed ten weeks ago. This can occur as the body continues its healing process and the nerves in that area start functioning again. Itching can also be a normal part of the healing process. To treat the itchiness, you can try using a gentle moisturizer on the area. Do not scratch it, as this can aggravate the situation. If the itching does not go away or intensifies, it is best to consult a dermatologist to ensure that your healing process is going well.

i am 28 years old female i recently satrted having minor acnes all over the body specially legs
Female | 28
Acne is typical and can be found in everyone. This stuff is the result of oil and dead skin cells blocking your hair follicles. The uplifting part is that you have complete control over the situation. Keep your skin clean, wear loose clothes, and use mild soap. If you are experiencing a lot of discomfort, you should consult a dermatologist for additional treatment.

Herpes simplex is a virus that causes cold sores on your lips. These cold sores can feel painful, itchy, or tingly. Don’t touch or pick at them. You can use a cold compress and over-the-counter creams to help soothe them. Eating healthy and getting plenty of rest will help your body fight the virus better.

Female | 29
Boils are typically triggered by bacteria entering a hair follicle or oil gland. They come up as red, tender lumps filled with pus. Clean the area and apply a warm cloth to help them heal. Don’t try to squeeze or burst them as this can make the infection worse. If this doesn’t work, see a dermatologist.

Hi, i've got a few chickenpox scars on my forehead which i would like to improve. I've heard that since i'm young and can stimulate my collagen production treatsments such as laser and dermapens can improve my scars for a lifetime. Is this true?
Male | 24
Chickenpox causes scars sometimes after healing the skin. Treatments including laser and dermapens help reduce scars. They stimulate collagen production in the skin. New collagen improves scar appearance. Being young assists scar healing through collagen. These treatments may be effective for you due to your age. However, results differ from person to person.

It's been recurring for a year or more now. There's this pimple like thing, slightly bigger in the space of chest between my breasts on my chest. And they open up often, and it's very deep. Like a hole, and pus comes out and it stinks sometimes. It's like a deep wound? There's no insufferable pain or anything, but the pus ajd the deep hole like wound and the bad smell scares me. I'm a female, of 18 Years.
Female | 18
It sounds like you're experiencing a recurring skin issue that may be related to an infection or a type of cyst. The presence of pus, deep wounds, and odor can indicate that medical evaluation is necessary. While the absence of severe pain is reassuring, it's important to address this condition promptly to prevent worsening or complications. I recommend scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist who can examine the area, provide an accurate diagnosis, and suggest appropriate treatment options.

Reoccurring fungal infection at thigh area
Male | 24
Redness, itching, and rash can be caused by fungal infections. These occur when specific fungi come into contact with your skin. To treat these infections, you can use antifungal creams or pharmacy powders. During treatment, ensure the affected area is always clean and dry, as fungi thrive in warm, moist environments. If there is no improvement, consult a dermatologist. To aid your skin's healing and prevent future infections, wear loose-fitting clothing and cotton underwear, which help keep your skin dry and allow it to breathe.

Hi. I've a question regarding my niece's skin problem. She is a 7-years old. She has developed red patches of skin on her cheek, chin and around nose. The affected area of her cheek is very dry. I brought her to a doctor who prescribed two creams, mezoderm(betamethasone) and gentamicin-akos which made things far worse. Then at the pharmacy I was advised to use ftorokart(also a cream with triamcinolone) for my niece's face. After a few uses of the cream, I've seen some noticeable improvement in her skin condition since she started to use it. It took the redness out of her nose. But she still has rash and blisters on her face. I took photos of her face in case it might be helpful for you to identify the reason for her skin condition. Here are the photos of hers: https://ibb.co/q9t8bSL https://ibb.co/Q8rqcr1 https://ibb.co/JppswZw https://ibb.co/Hd9LPkZ Would you mind helping us to identify what caused this skin condition?
Female | 7
According to the symptoms and signs described, it appears to be a case of atopic dermatitis which is common among children of the mentioned age. It is a condition where the skin barrier is disturbed and is extremely sensitive to external environmental triggers like cold and dry weather, dust etc. It presents as red dry itchy patches on cheeks, hands and legs sometimes whole body. The above mentioned creams contain topical corticosteroids which are to be used with a great caution under the supervision of Dermatologist. Good barrier repairing creams including emollients with squalene, ceramides etc can help reviving the skin barrier. Steroid sparing drugs can be prescribed to manage the rash. Please consult a qualified Dermatologist and do not use topical corticosteroids without doctor’s advice as it may cause many adverse effects.

The most broken nails can heal on their own with some simple care. You can try trimming the nail to prevent further damage, keeping it clean to avoid infection, and applying a gentle moisturizer to the area. Ear looking pink with a cauliflower-like structure. It sounds like a skin condition called seborrheic keratosis. These growths are usually harmless and can vary in color, size, and texture. However, it's essential to have it checked by a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis. In the meantime, try not to pick or scratch it. Keeping the area clean and dry can help prevent any irritation.

Symptoms might include redness, tenderness, or slight discharge. Keeping the area clean and using a gentle moisturizer can help soothe the discomfort. Having acne near chin and its very painful and I am suffering it from 2 years and I am diagnosed with pcos but my periods are regular and my weight is under control
Female | 29
Acne close to your chin has a sharp pain for two years it can also be one of the symptoms of PCOS when you do not have irregular periods and your weight is fine. Hormone disruptors like PCOS are the cause of acne in the region of the chin. One thing to notice is that treatments with creams like salicylic acid, and laser resurfacing can be another option if you commit more to finding the right products for your skin. Not only antibiotics but also the ability of drugs to fight against PCOS by lifestyle changes leads to a reduction of acne too.

I am 21 years old and I have severe dandruff and itchy scalp . I used many anti dandruff shampoos but no use.
Male | 21
A common cause of dandruff is yeast which lives on everybody’s skin. Sometimes, if you’re using certain shampoos and they’re not working it’s possibly because your scalp needs something else. Try shampoo with an ingredient such as ketoconazole or salicylic acid in it and be sure to massage this into your head. Doing so should help decrease both the amount of flakes produced by the dandruff and also provide relief from irritation caused by dryness.

You may have a condition known as an inguinal hernia, which happens when a part of your insides protrudes through a weak spot in your groin muscles. It can happen like this: first, there is some swelling that appears to be a bump in your genital area that may go away or spontaneously revive and get painful. A dermatologist should be consulted to examine it and discuss therapy alternatives that can encompass surgical hernia repair.
