Started taking pep and it’s day 12 now but the results after testing it went positive
Male | 25
It's understandable to feel concerned after receiving a positive test result, even while taking post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). PEP is highly effective but not 100% guaranteed. Symptoms of potential HIV infection can include fatigue, fever, or swollen lymph nodes. I recommend scheduling an appointment with your sexologist, who can guide you through further testing and provide personalized advice. This is a crucial step to confirm your status and discuss any next steps for your health.

Hi.. I'm always struggling with being very skinny and I can't gain weight and my iron level always drops, I did blood analysis and everything was good except iron level. I reached many doctors and they gave up because the diagnosis still dim ????. Thanks in advance doctor .
Female | 24
The typical symptoms of iron defusion consist of fatigue, weakness, and trouble gaining weight. The most prevalent cause of low iron is that you don't get enough of it in your diet. Iron-rich foods such as red meat, beans, and green leaves can do a good help. Besides consuming iron supplements, which should be prescribed by a doctor, one will also be able to improve one's iron levels. Don't forget to see your doctor to get more directions.

Bloating spleen, constipation, and high plasma cells spring from the conditions of infection or bone marrow issues. Hello, Doctor. I hope you're doing well. I recently had the opportunity to review my aunt's blood test results, and I was concerned to see that her neutrophil count is extremely high. Could you please explain what this might mean? Is it possible that she has an infection or a chronic disorder such as rheumatoid arthritis or inflammatory bowel disease? Alternatively, could it be indicative of a more serious condition like cancer? Or perhaps it's related to a side effect of some medication she's taking? I would greatly appreciate your insight into this matter.
Female | 45
A high neutrophil count can indicate inflammation or infection in the body and may be linked to conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or inflammatory bowel disease. Certain medications can also cause an increase. If your aunt has symptoms like fever, fatigue, or pain, it's important to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

My hemoglobin report 8.2 and my esr 125
Male | 37
According to your test results, your hemoglobin level is low, which can cause symptoms like feeling tired and weak. The high ESR number could mean that your body is inflamed. From simple ones, such as anemia, to complex ones, such as infection-are sorts of them. If you want to take your hemoglobin to the right levels, you may have to take in more iron-rich foods by way of diet. Plus, do not forget that the root cause of inflammation is there and lower your ESR count. To improve your hemoglobin, you may need to eat more iron-rich foods, and addressing the underlying cause of inflammation can help lower your ESR level.

I'm 29yrs old ..I have 4months old baby..and I have lupus since 4yrs ..I m breastfeeding..but recently my blood infection increased high (esr 96) so my question is can I continue the breastfeeding..nd infection is pass to the baby ..through breastfeeding ..plz reply me
Female | 29
High ESR is a sign of inflammation or the presence of an infection, but it doesn’t always mean that it will be passed on to your baby through breastfeeding. In the majority of cases, infections can't be transmitted by the mothers through breast milk. It is very important that you observe your symptoms, for instance, fever or any unusual weariness, and seek advice from your health provider for specific instructions and treatment options.

I'm fat and have hyperthyroidism and I take 25 mg medicine but I have periods in clotting and in periods clots and little blood come and clot comes out everyday ( during periods) amount 4 to 6 am
Female | 29
Having hyperthyroidism can sometimes affect your menstrual cycle. The hormone imbalances from your thyroid can cause changes in your period flow, leading to clotting. Now, taking your medicine is essential, but it's also important to keep an eye on these symptoms. I'd recommend reaching out to your gynecologist to discuss these changes. They may want to adjust your medication or run some tests to make sure everything is okay.

I am 20F. Since May, I started a new job in May (retail part time as a student). I've been having nosebleeds since then. During summer it was worse when i was working many many hrs, where it happened alongside dizziness and headaches. Its recently happening again on and off since May- sometimes due to stress and dehydration , dust, allergies and the flu (dont know exact cause). It always come from one nostril.
Female | 20
Nosebleeds happen, especially with stress, lack of fluids, or breathing in dust and allergens. One nostril bleeding is usually no biggie. Try drinking more water, avoiding dusty spaces, and using a humidifier. But if it won't quit, best to have a doctor check it.

My platelet count is 5.5 lakh so it is normal or not
Male | 17
A platelet count of 5.5 lakh is normal. These tiny cells help blood clot properly. Low platelets mean bruising easily, bleeding too much, and cuts won't stop bleeding. High platelets might signal infection, inflammation, or medical issues. So, regular check-ups with your doctor monitor those platelet levels. Your number looks good now. But definitely double-check with a doctor.

My question was "i'm female of age 17. My reports are saying my ferritin level is low, My reports are saying anisocytosis, hypochromic, microcytosis. Target cells? Iron deficiency? Thalassemia minor. went to check doctor, doctor said visit gyne!? My mensural cycle is okay. I'm not experiencing anything in casual. But is this something like cancer.. breast cancer?" Your answer was perfect. My menstural cycle has disturbed from last 3 months not including previous recent one. I used to got 4 days menses. But these 3 months, I got 2 days menses. I told my parents. But they ignored it.. my blood level is okay too, it's 10, which is normal. People are surviving at 6 too... So tell me further please. I'm very worried Answer
Female | 17
Your low ferritin, anisocytosis, hypochromic, and microcytosis findings can indeed point to different conditions like iron deficiency or even thalassemia minor, but not necessarily cancer. The decrease in your menstrual days could be related to these issues. Since your hemoglobin level is normal, that's reassuring. It's essential to follow up with a gynecologist as your doctor suggested. They can further investigate the menstrual changes and the blood findings to provide you with the best care and guidance moving forward.

Male | 44
A White Blood Cell (WBC) count of 15000 could be an indication that your body is fighting an infection. Some of the usual symptoms are fever, tiredness, and body pains. Increases in WBC counts are due to infections, inflammation, and some of the drugs used to treat them. You should consult a hematologist for proper treatment.
