Can 17 cm ovarian cyst be cured with medication?

Patient's Query

17 cm ovarian cyst can be cure by medication

Answered by Dr. Himali Patel

An ovarian cyst of this size can sometimes be concerning, but many cases resolve on their own. Symptoms may include pelvic pain, bloating, or changes in menstrual cycles. Factors contributing to cyst formation vary from hormonal imbalances to natural reproductive processes. While medication can help manage symptoms or regulate hormones, it may not directly eliminate a large cyst. It’s vital to consult a gynecologist for precise evaluation and tailored advice. They may recommend monitoring or specific treatments based on your individual situation.

Based on your symptoms, I recommend you make an appointment with an endocrinologist who is an expert in hormonal deficiency. They may be able to discover a source of accumulated weight, such as hypothyroidism or PCOS. In the meantime, pay attention to your daily diet and regular exercise to promote overall health. Don't self-medicate with supplements or drugs without consent from a healthcare professional.

I missed my period, feeling weak, tired and moody everyday. What's wrong with me

Female | 21

Missing period + weakness, tiredness, moodiness = Possible pregnancy.. Other reasons: stress, weight changes, hormonal IMBALANCE, thyroid issues. Consult a doctor for a pregnancy test and further EVALUATION.

I have pcos and hypothyroidism. And also I gave a handjob to my boyfriend on 14th feb I'm unable to recall that I have touched my vagina with my hands or not ,but I got my period on next day that is on 15 feb .do I still have a chance to get pregnant? I have taken 2 pregnancy test on 2nd and 3rd March it came out negative.

Female | 20

The bleeding with clots might be caused by hormonal variations linked to PCOS and hypothyroidism. The lighter flow could also result from your recent meds. Regarding pregnancy concerns, negative tests, and your period suggest low chances. However, monitor any further changes and prioritize your well-being.

So, I had sex last month 4 days before I got my menstrual periods, which lasted 5-6 days after that, and then I didn't have sex however this month I missed my periods... What's the matter?

Female | 20

There are many reasons why periods get missed like stress, lifestyle changes etc. If you think it is because of pregnancy, I suggest you to visit a gynecologist and get some pregnancy tests done to confirm it.

Me and my bf had sex. It's not exactly sex but. I can say that. His penis tip touched my vagina. There was no semen present. The last time my periods was on 28feb and today is march 29 . I didn't get them yet

Female | 18

You seem worried about getting pregnant. When only the penis tip touches the vagina, without any semen, the pregnancy risk is low. Stress or hormonal shifts could delay your period. Wait a while and see if it comes. If not, take a pregnancy test for assurance.
