Ask Free Question

Hello, I have the below questions. 1. No doubt the bald spot would be filled with the new follicles or the layer of the scalp itself (if I have understood correctly) and these methods claim to regrow the hair in the same way as it was naturally happening but what if the reasons because of which the sufferer had hair loss continues to be the same? Isn't it obvious that the patient may lose the hair soon again as he is not told about why he was losing the hair? 2. FUT and FUE methods are the options given to the patient to choose or it is decided by the Dermatologist depending on the patient's hair fall pattern? 3. For me there has been continuous hair fall since from 1. 5 years and now it has resulted in creating small bald spots but I too won't be able to make out that there are bald spots unless I have a close look but these are becoming bigger day by day! So, now my question is, which is the right time to get the transplant done? Should I wait until a constant bald spot is formed? Otherwise, it shouldn't become like I fill the bald spots with hair transplant today and the remaining hair falls after some time or it also may happen that the transplant was done by an unprofessional and the transplanted hair falls and the doctor starts to say that the transplanted hair is there but your other hairs have fallen down and I need to undergo another transplant! 4. Since from the time I felt that my hairs are falling I am having a constant irritation with light pain in the same spots, it is not continuous but appears after I have had a busy day or just a busy hour! And also there have been continuous problems because of dandruff in the same course of time! Is that also a symptom or it is just a coincidence with the hair fall as my work takes a lot of my head to get it done?

Hello, I tried to answer your questions below:

  1. Your transplanted hair will not fall again as it does not have a receptor for DHT hormones. Whereas, other hair which has Alfa receptor can fall down in future.
  2. You can choose any method. Sometimes it depends on your health conditions like diabetes, etc. Also, sometimes after your scalp test, the doctor himself will suggest you the method which is suitable for you.
  3. For this, we would suggest you visit the nearest dermatologist in Bangalore as soon as possible so that the doctor could consult you and check whether you have normal baldness or other issues like alopecia areata, etc. You can get hair transplant done on the bald area. Also, for other hair control, the DHT hormone will be under doctor's supervision. Further, get the hair transplant done by an experienced surgeon so that your hair transplant doesn't fail.
  4. Again, for the symptoms, you need to get yourself consulted properly from the doctor. Only after your physical examination, the doctor will be able to suggest anything further. Hope our answer helps you.

Hi good morning I have skin allergy plz can you tell me med for this

Male | 38

For skin allergies, I advise the individual to see a dermatologist who could pinpoint his/her exact condition and give a relevant treatment. Non-prescription antihistamines can help with mild symptoms, but a person who is suffering from prolonged or very serious symptoms must seek medical help.

My son has redish spots on the body feeling swear itching and burrowing with swelling.

Male | Roshaan

Your son might have a skin condition called hives. These are small, pinkish-red, itchy lumps that appear on the skin. Hives are generally caused by a person's allergic reaction to specific types of food, or drugs, or by bug bites. Give him an antihistamine that will alleviate the itchy skin and reduce the swelling. Moreover, you should search for the elements that cause the hives to not occur the rest of the time.

Hi Team, This is regarding to my mother who age is 55. She got burning feet from so many years and nowadays she is getting on the hands as well. Just want to know what is the reason and is there any oilment or tablet to cure her problem.

Female | 55

Without a proper evaluation and diagnosis, it is difficult to understand the cause of the problem. I suggest taking your mother to a right doctor. Based on your mother's medical history and certain evaluations, he will be able to know the cause of burning feet and hands and can suggest an appropriate treatment. Hope this proved helpful.

Allergy swelling in hands

Female | 32

You most likely are facing swelling of your hands that is induced by an allergy. Allergies develop when the body reacts to a certain stimulus that it doesn't like, which results in swelling. Redness, itching, or even puffiness are the possible symptoms you may get on your hands. The most common causes of allergies can be some foods, insect bites, or even contact with some things. To help with swelling, consider taking antihistamines and avoiding your allergy triggers.

Male | 14

It is okay to have white or grey hair when you are young. Genetics is one of the main reasons this might happen. Ridiculing someone because of their hair color is not okay. Optionally, there are hair dyes that can even transform a light hair color into a completely different one.
