You may have a yeast infection. It can be responsible for such problems as itching, redness, and sometimes a thick discharge. Antibiotics, tight clothing, or a weakened immune system can be blamed for yeast infections. You can buy antifungal creams over-the-counter can ease the itching and help you get rid of the infection. You should be wearing only cotton underwear and avoiding those products with scents to ensure you are not further irritating the area.
