Hi, I have an issue of hair fall for the past 3 years and I am in 3rd stage of baldness. Would like to check what kind of treatment will be suggested for long-lasting hairline? How much it would cost approximately? And I'm planning to come to India in September, which could be the best treatment center in India? How long the procedure takes place? What will be the recovery period to be back to normal day to day life?

Answered by Pankaj Kamble

Hello Arun, Considering that you are in the third stage of baldness, hair transplant surgery is the only viable option for you, with FUE hair transplant (Follicular Unit Extraction) being the best technique to go for.

FUE Hair transplant is the most preferred technique for restoration of hairs in small cases for hair transplant in India. Transplantation of 1500-2500 grafts should be enough for your baldness level.

In general, the number of grafts for FUE hair transplant in one sitting of approximately 6-8 hours is 2000-3000. Hence one session of 6-8 hours would be the maximum duration of the procedure in your case.

Right after hair transplant surgery, many people prefer a rest period and that's the right way to go about it. After surgery, the time to recover is 1-6 days. Usually, there is no pain after hair transplant surgery. The best part of this surgery is that the FUE technique does not leave visible scars (no stitches) after surgery. Results are lifelong as during the FUE process, hair follicles are extracted from the healthy areas of the scalp that are resistant to hair loss.

It provides natural hair restoration and long lasting hairline. The hair transplant price in India for 1500-2500 grafts will be ranging from Rs. 55,000- Rs. 95,000/-(Estimation). Can I use bleach on face if I am under treatment for verrucca plana?

Female | 21

Don't put bleach on your face if you have verruca plana. That skin issue happens when a virus infects your cells. It creates odd growths. Harsh bleach irritates skin more, making problems severe. Follow your doctor's advice precisely. Treat your skin gently and patiently.

You may be having a skin disorder known as vitiligo. Vitiligo is a condition in which parts of the skin turn white due to a lack of pigmentation. Problems like the skin shortage of pigmentation appear in white patches due to vitiligo disease. The methods of treating vitiligo can be quite difficult, but they can be handled with the help of some medicines like calming creams, phototherapy, and sometimes surgery. Not using sunscreen and the nervousness of a greater cause can intensify the symptoms. Visit a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.

I experience cold symptoms whenever I step outside, possibly due to dust. I also feel cold even when I am in an air-conditioned environment. Additionally, while preparing food, I start sneezing due to the smell of the ingredients. I am not sure why this problem occurs, and I am seeking advice on what I should do to address this issue.

Female | 25

You may be suffering from allergies, which can cause sneezing and chills despite warm weather. Allergens such as dust and strong odors, possibly from food, could trigger these symptoms. To manage this, avoid exposure to dust and pungent smells. Wearing a mask and keeping your living areas spotless can help. Over-the-counter antihistamines may offer relief. However, allergies are a complex condition, so it's important to steer clear of irritants.

My 2yrs old is having rashes and black spots, can I give her emzoclox, the rashes normally comes and goes

Female | 2yrs

It's important to understand that rashes and dark spots can arise from various sources, such as allergies, irritation, or skin infections. While Emzoclox may help with certain bacterial infections, it is vital to have a pediatrician evaluate your child’s specific condition first. Observing whether the rashes have triggers like certain foods or activities can be helpful. In the meantime, keep the affected area clean and avoid using products that could worsen irritation.
