Asked for Female | 17 Years

I am 17 year old female. I have a lot of coarse and dense hair on my body maybe it's genetical. i have done few rounds of waxing, the results are good but the hair started growing much thicker. What should I do? I want to opt for full body laser treatment. I want to know that the full body treatment comprises the whole body or just some main body parts and the cost of the total sessions needed so that I can be prepared.

There are different types of lasers: Nd yag, Alexandrite, diode, IPL, and Ruby.

The dermatologist will do patch testing to see which laser goes with your skin - not all lasers go with all kinds of hair and skin type, and your hair & skin requires a specific type of laser as well.

The way you describe your hair, alexandrite, diode or IPL lasers seem to be a possibility. But a patch testing and personal consultation with the specialist will offer more clarity.

Our article will walk you through costs for each body part covered under this treatment - Laser hair removal cost in India.

You can also consider electrolysis if laser hair removal doesn't deliver the desired results.

My daughter is 10 year old and she got allergic it's like water ball it's spreading on legs so what is the best treatment for that.

Female | 10

Your daughter may have red hives, itching, and raised bumps on the skin. Often hives are elevated because of allergens like the diverse range of food, insects, or specified materials. Antihistamine drugs such as Benadryl can be used to help relieve the symptoms of itching and swelling. Check again to ensure no food or other substances have caused the allergy, and if it spreads or worsens, seek medical attention.

Itching, redness and sticky dandruff in beard. From last 10+ years. Issue resolve when clomatrizole applied but this time clomatrizole is not working. Want some generic ointment as can't afford expensive treatments.

Male | 35

You are suffering from a long-term problem with your beard itching, redness, and sticky dandruff. A skin condition seborrheic dermatitis may be the cause. Occasionally, the use of antifungal ointments like clotrimazole can be effective, but if this is not the case, you might want to use an ointment with hydrocortisone to decrease inflammation. Remember to wash and dry the area that is affected as this will help with the symptoms.

Hello! I'd like to consult on a medication called Doxycycline I took 2 doses wrongly by accident (2 pills 2 times a day instead of 1 pill 2 times a day) Should I wait 24 hours and take the next dose in the morning? or should I take my next dose now? also, could I check the effectiveness of doxycycline? (I have taken doxycycline before and I'm concerned it might not be effective) Thank you!

Male | 24

It's important to use medicines the right way if you want them to work well. Too much doxycycline might give you a stomach ache, make you feel sick, or throw up. If you have taken 2 doses at once, just skip that particular time and take your next dose when it is due. Even after this drug may still be effective but not in the correct manner as before; so always consult with your doctor if doubtful about its efficacy.

Mere face ke neeche neck ke pass hanging pimples hogaye hain .Inhe hatane ke liye kya karoon, kaunsi company ki cream ya lotion lagaon jo market mein available ho.meri age 35 yrs hain.

The most likely cause is acne or ingrown hair. Accordingly, look for creams with active substances like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to help them go away. These can be found in different brands, including Neutrogena and Clean & Clear. Gently wash your face first, before applying the cream.
