Hypertrophic Acne scar on both sides nose only ...

Male | 25

You seem to have hypertrophic acne scars on both sides of your nose. These raised, bumpy scars happen when too much collagen forms during healing. Treatments like laser therapy or corticosteroid injections can help flatten and soften them. However, you must protect your skin from the sun, as sunlight makes scars more noticeable.

I have keloid scars on my upper chest and one on the side of my stomach. Both are raised and very pigmented. I am looking for topical (non-invasive) treatment options that would reduce the appearance of the scars. I would like to understand which combination of gels and creams would work best for my goals? E.g applying silicone cream gels and layering silicone gel sheets, then using bio oil etc.

Female | 18

Keloid scars are marks that are raised and dark because of the excessive collagen. These scars can be highly annoying for people. Utilization of silicone gel or sheets will assist in the flattening and bleaching of the scars. Besides, the application of bio-oil can be even more effective in enhancing the look. Hence, the most important thing is the time and patience to stick to the treatment to be able to see the effects of it.

One of my friend kid eat e capsule which is used for hair and skin she is using for hair growth by putting e capsule in oil by mistake the kid is eaten e capsule green colour layer of e capsule so it is problem for her kid

Female | 2

The thought of the child of your friend swallowing the capsule should not be a cause of much worry. More often than not, these are pure nutrient capsules, so the threat may be relatively minor. The signs might be something like mild upset of the stomach, the child might also experience nausea. Monitor the child for any possible adverse reactions. Tell the parent to give the child quite a few drinks and await for any discomfort.

I am 30 year old male and my face cover is dark spots that is called acne Used some medicine one year ago but no any positive results I need help you

Male | 30

There are a few options that you could try. First, it may help if you switch up your skincare routine. Make sure you are using gentle cleansers and moisturizers that are suitable for your skin type. You may also want to look into products that contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, which can help reduce inflammation and clear up acne. Additionally, you may consult with a dermatologist to discuss further treatment options. They may be able to recommend a prescription topical treatment or a course of antibiotics that could help clear up your acne.

Hi, I had sclerotherapy done on Wednesday last week. My veins look a lot worse, they as re purple and more visible, there is no brusing and they are also quite sore to the touch/I can feel tiredness in my legs. My doctor said I may have had an allergic reaction to the therapy because I am on holiday in a hot country (Brazil) and prescribed me an antihistamine. Will the veins eventually fade or will I need more treatment?

Female | 28

Bruising and discomfort after sclerotherapy are natural which normally resolves within a few days. But since you said your veins look worse and are more visible after the procedure could indicate a complication. It's good that you have already spoken with your doctor, but still experiencing discomfort or have any concerns, follow up with them promptly.

In some cases the veins may fade on their own over time, but if the issue is related to the sclerotherapy procedure, additional treatment can be needed. Its best to follow up with your doctor to discuss your options and determine the best treatment.

Itching eczema or dermatitis

Male | 24

When your skin feels itchy, turns red and sometimes swells up it's called itching eczema or dermatitis. This could happen if your skin is sensitive to things such as soap, fabrics even stress. To relieve the condition, consider mild bathing soaps, and gentle moisturizers as well as resist scratching at all costs. If this doesn’t work out then you should see a dermatologist who can prescribe some special creams

I am 31 years old female. I have many pimple on chick

Female | 31

Acne is multi-factorial problem, hormonal disease in most of the patients, diet, exercise, hygiene, grooming practices play important role.so visiting dermatologist and taking treatment is one option and maintain treatment for long time because if you are getting any improvement with the treatment then continue it otherwise dermatologist will change it. there are few things that has to be taken care. One thing not to apply hair oil, avoid having dandruff or use anti-dandruff shampoos weekly on the scalp, using face washes that have salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Avoid using thick greasy moisturizers or cream on the face. Use only creams that are gel based or water based. Drink plenty of water, avoid fat or cheesy diet, exercise 10-15 mins of the day. Topical steroids have to be avoided. Topical antibiotics like Clindamycin are useful. Oral Antibiotics or retinoids are advised.
