What's the Best Solution for Lacoria?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor I have a problem of lacoria can you tell me the best solution of this problem

Answered by Dr. Himali Patel

Lacoria, also known as leucorrhea, is a common issue among women. It usually involves a white or yellowish vaginal discharge. In fact, it can be caused by hormonal changes, infections, or even poor hygiene. The best solution depends on the underlying cause. I recommend seeing a gynecologist for a proper evaluation. In the meantime, maintaining good hygiene, wearing cotton underwear, and avoiding harsh soaps in the vaginal area can help.

Questions & Answers on "Urology" (1243)

It began when I was approximately eight years old, occuring once at that time, I had to use the restroom to urinate, and upon returning to my bedroom, I experienced a strong urge to urinate again in a large volume. After that incident, it did not happen again for a long time. As I grew older and entered my teenage years, the issue resurfaced. I started urinating frequently with short intervals and in significant amounts. It can endure for a few minutes to several hours. When it occurs, my urine takes on a cloudy color, and the final urination is slightly yellow, indicating it's the last one. There is no pain, and it can happen in the morning or at night, but the nighttime instances bother me more. The pattern is intermittent, with breaks lasting weeks or months. I initially suspected diabetes and tried a diet, leading to very low blood sugar, especially since I am an active person. The urge to urinate returns when I stay up all night, possibly influenced by hot temperatures making my genital sweaty. Surprisingly, hunger or low blood sugar doesn't trigger it, however how can a diabetic individual experience decreases in blood sugar without the use of medications? Strangely, during these episodes, my hands feel dry, persisting until the frequent urination stops.

I am 24 years old and having pain in my penis glans left side whenever i touch it or rub it from past few weeks my family doctor gave me some pain relief tablets but its not healing pain is still the same.

Male | 24

The discomfort felt exclusively in the glans may occur due to several conditions such as infection, inflammation, or even sensitivity. Consult a urologist for a  physical examination and suggest some specific tests that are purposed to disclose the underlying problem. Treatment of the symptoms only, as in this case, is done before the etiological investigations are concluded. Refrain from irritants and practice good hygiene to help ease the pain.

For a urologist: Hi, I'm 16 year old male, I have phimosis and hypersensitive glans, Recently I brought betnovate-n to lossen the foreskin but how do I apply it without syringe? Do I just pull back the foreskin to where it starts feel uncomfortable, that way the cream will definitely get on the glans and over long extended period of time, won't the cream start to do harm to the glans? Do I apply it when I have erection? It is harder to pull the foreskin back when I have erection, and can I urinate before or after applying the cream? Does the foreskin and glans have to be dry before applying the cream? I brought the cream without a urologist's diagnosis since I live in a traditional village without access to such things, not to mention that I don't have the type relationship to anyone in my family where I can talk about these things, so I did bit research and I definitely have phimosis grade 3-4(I can barely see the glans when i have erection) I came across article which said that steroid creams can thin the foreskin to the point where it will rip apart, so I'm very scared and nervous. What's the chance of that happening? Ignore any grammar mistakes as English isn't my first language. Thank you very much.

Male | 16

Phimosis is when the foreskin is tight and can't be retracted. This condition can lead to itching and difficulty in proper hygienic upkeep. Betnovate-N cream can help to get rid of the tight sheath. You can apply a small portion to the tight area when the foreskin is dry. One easy way is, to shallowly trigger it back to the elastic extent without making any patient uncomfortable. Alternatively, restrict your dosage of cream to avoid the risk of side effects.

I had a UTI problem few months back, after some medication it went away and then around the end of Ramadan i felt sharp pain in my kidney which was ruled out as me not drinking enough water but with that the UTI was back, i was giving medication such as Novidat and after 2 weeks i was fine, but now few days ago i felt that the urine had turned pink again i am facing the same problem It keeps on coming back this time another doc and he prescribed Becyclo 20 mg Ciprexis 500 mg Relipsa 40 mg AboCran Which i completed but nothing much changed I did a urine DR test most was normal besides a small amount of blood cells Few bacteria and mucus being present. Right now i am facing frequent urination and just a slight sting while urination. That's it...someone suggested using fosfomycin trometamol satchet but i am not sure. What should i do?

Male | 24

The pink urine and the few blood cells found suggest an ongoing infection. Both germs and mucus in your urine can be responsible for these symptoms. The prescribed medications should be taken as per the doctor’s advice for the complete course of therapy; but if the symptoms are still the same, it could be better to consult a urologist. fosfomycin trometamol as it has been found more valuable in curative UTIs in some cases. In addition, you should drink a lot of water, never try to stop your urine and be extra careful when washing yourself to protect yourself from future infections.
