Why are small itchy bumps on my testicles?

Patient's Query

I have spot itchy bumps on my testicles from past 2 weeks ago it's small steel bump and it's more itching

Answered by Dr. Neeta Verma

Itchy bumps on your testicles could be due to a few things, like a fungal infection, irritation from clothing, or even an allergic reaction. To ease the itching, try wearing loose cotton underwear and avoiding harsh soaps. Keeping the area clean and dry can help too. If it doesn't improve or gets worse, it's best to have it checked by a urologist. They can give you a proper diagnosis and recommend the right treatment.

You may have jock itch, a fungal issue. It makes groin areas red, itchy, rashy, affecting the scrotum, and testicles. In warm, moist places let it grows. Try drugstore anti-fungal creams. Clean, and dry the zone to avoid return. Jock itch thrives when sweaty, warm. Over-the-counter creams help clear up the fungus rapidly. However, keeping areas dry is crucial. That prevents future jock itch flare-ups. So cleanliness matters alongside medication.

1 Big pimple in face please suggest thr tables

Male | 30

Usually, the reasons for these pimples are open pores, dirt, and bacteria. They can be manifested as red bumps that are filled with pus. Over-the-counter acne specialty products that contain ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to clear the acne should be tried, during this period, for the help of the pimple. Next, keep a clean face and do not touch or pick the pimple to prevent scars.

Male | 50

Itching on your shoulder and back for so many years, and it's gotten darker recently. Itching can have various causes, like dry skin, allergies, or even a skin condition called eczema. The recent change in color could be due to increased scratching or inflammation. It's essential to have it checked by a dermatologist to rule out any serious concerns. In the meantime, try using a gentle moisturizer and avoid scratching to prevent further darkening.

I am 20 year old female, My hands got some bumps can say its keratosis pilaris and surface is rough too so what should i do now ? A laser or just a treatment?

Female | 20

This can be treated with either topical creams or laser treatments. Depending on the severity of your condition, it is best to consult a dermatologist to determine the best treatment for you. Laser treatments are often more effective than topical creams, but a bit expensive. Topical creams can be used to reduce the appearance of the bumps but may not completely remove them.

I have a 14 year old daughter who has a had a itchy raised red puffy bump on her left shoulder the last two days. It happened in the middle of her basketball game. It has gotten worse from her bra strap and shirt rubbing against it. I want to know what it is and how to fix this mystery.

Female | 14

Looks like your daughter has a skin irritation that is contact dermatitis. One common type is contact dermatitis, which is caused by something rubbing against the skin and triggering redness, itching, and swelling. This thing might be her bra strap or shirt, which is the cause of the rash on her skin when it rubs against it while she is playing basketball, To make her feel better, try to use a soothing lotion or cream and let her put on clothes that are not tight enough to prevent rubbing as much as possible.

Good day sir , my wife is feeling pain since one week now where they injected her , the spot is hot and little strong, and it's paining her serious ,I have use ice block and close up , but the spot is still hot and little stronger

Female | 20

Your wife is likely to have an infection at the injection site. The symptoms such as heat, pain, and redness are caused when the bacteria get in. The area needs to be cleaned gently and the healthcare provider must be consulted. Antibiotics may be recommended to eliminate the infection. Do not use ice or cover it up without advice as it may aggravate the problem.
