Why do I have antrum hyperemia and stomach pain?

Patient's Query

Hyperemia in antrum, vomiting just after having food and continuous severe pain in left side of stomach

Answered by Dr. Samrat Jankar

Hyperemia is just a term for increased blood flow to the area, often due to inflammation. This, combined with the vomiting and pain, could suggest issues like gastritis, ulcers, or even gallbladder problems. I recommend you schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation. In the meantime, try eating smaller, more frequent meals and avoiding spicy or acidic foods. Stay hydrated and consider using a heating pad for the discomfort.

I m having a problem with hemorrhoids but today I felt a dull pain in left area of the anus and it was horrible and i had a left leg numb then after a while it started on the right side and my right leg felt numb to.

Male | 28

One should get medical help as soon as possible. Your symptoms indicate the possible complication of your case due to hemorrhoids, for example blood clot. As for me, I would advise turning to a gastroenterologist or proctologist immediately in order to receive the right diagnosis and treatment.

I have stomach pain and visit doctor and take medicine but I can't feel better

Female | 23

Different things such as indigestion, gastritis, or infections can cause stomach pains. When you go back to your doctor this time you let the doctor know that what they gave you last time did not work. The doctor might need to run more tests so they can find out what’s happening and give you something that’ll make you feel better.

Hi. It’s regarding my younger sister she’s 4. After Eid, she stopped eating and lost weight a bit. But she’s been eating well again for the last 2 weeks so her appetite is back to normal. She had an ear infection and flu right before she lost her appetite but her appetite loss happened after finishing the antibiotics. However, over the past months she always says ‘my leg hurts’ and she says it’s her ankle. It doesn’t make her cry or anything and it doesn’t stop her playing like a wild animal ???? but today she has blood in her poo and on tissue when wiping it was bright red blood it’s happened before when she was constipated she didn’t drink much water yesterday and my other sister also got the norovirus so it could be that- her poo was watery. She also catches colds frequently

Female | 4

Seeing blood when she goes poo could mean she's constipated. That can make poo hard to pass. It may also be from norovirus, which causes diarrhea and tummy aches. Her sore leg needs checking too. That pain may relate to her other problems or signal something else. Make sure she drinks lots of water and eats healthy foods to help her tummy feel better. If the leg pain gets worse or won't go away, take her to the doctor.

I’m 21 I had a beer a Long Island alcoholic drink and a slurpee alcoholic drink and after 12 hours I took exedrin 250mg of acetaminophen will I be okay?

Male | 21

Pairing up acetaminophen and alcohol can have dire consequences, you know. Such a combination might hinder the body's processing of acetaminophen. Eventually, you may end up suffering from liver complications, thanks to alcohol. Puking, headaches, and stomach pains are what you should watch out for if you suspect an overdose.

Typhoid is a serious disease, not like regular illnesses. It stems from bacteria entering through contaminated water or food. Symptoms include fever, tummy aches, and weakness. But don't worry, antibiotics treat it effectively. Be mindful to consume clean water and food.

Phele mujhe kafi din s fever aa rha tha ..check krvaya to usm typhoid aaya ...pr ab mujhe fever nhi hai to kya dbai Lena jrori hai

Female | 45

Typhoid causes high fever, weakness, stomach pain, and poor appetite. It comes from the bacteria, Salmonella typhi. Even though the fever's gone, you must finish antibiotics. This gets rid of bacteria fully and stops it from returning. So take medicine exactly as the doctor said.
