Answered by Dr. Nisarg Patel

Skin pain and black discharge around your period can sometimes occur due to changes in hormone levels or even infection. It's essential to stay calm as we figure this out together. Firstly, ensure good hygiene during your period. If the pain persists, it's wise to consult a gynecologist for a proper evaluation. They may recommend tests to determine the underlying cause.

I had an operation on back side of my head in which the area was infected with an infection called carbuncle and it was cut to remove it and then the skin there regenerated soon, but its 3 years and the hair there hasn't grown yet. the diameter of that are is approx 5cm. Is there any other way to get hair back without hair transplant?

Male | 14

I recommend that you see a dermatologist for this issue. The scar tissue that resulted from the surgery might have injured the hair follicles, thus depriving them of any regrowth. Unfortunately, there is no scientifically based treatment to re-grow hair in scar tissue except by means of a transplant. Some topical treatments may be prescribed by a dermatologist

Our dog accidently scratch my hands with his teeth but there is no cuts, bleeding or wounds can i get rabies?

Female | 22

If a dog of yours scratches or nips at you and you don't see any signs of bleeding, cuts, or wounds, the risk of rabies is among the lowest. Rabies is mostly an infection through saliva, hence, when there is no open wound, the chances are minimal. Watch out for any strange signs such as a fever, headache, or tingling in the area near the scratch. In the event, you spot something peculiar, it's best to get checked out by a doctor anyway. But for now, you should be just fine. Rinse the wound under running water and lather it with soap to disinfect it.

Skin problem raches and ichinng problem More then 2 years i ised many medicines again ots comming

Male | 52

You have had itchy rashes for at least 2 years already, despite using many medications. But it is necessary to find out what is causing it. The typical causes of long-lasting skin rashes and itching are allergies, eczema, or dermatitis. Get an appointment with a dermatologist to have a thorough evaluation and to receive a customized treatment plan that fits your particular condition.
