Why is my creatinine 1.0 for 2 months?

Patient's Query

My creatinine is 1.0 still from 2 months

Answered by Dr. Babita Goel

A creatinine level of 1.0 mg/dL is generally considered within a normal range for most adults. It's important to note that several factors can influence these numbers, including hydration, diet, and muscle mass. Symptoms to watch for include fatigue, swelling, or changes in urination. Maintaining a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and monitoring your blood pressure can support kidney health. However, if you experience any unusual symptoms or have concerns, it’s wise to consult a nephrologist. Regular check-ups will help you stay informed and ensure your kidneys are functioning well.

Male | 66

When you have ESRD, your kidneys do not work well. Although dialysis is working for you, high blood pressure may cause more difficulties. Be on the lookout for signs like being tired, swollen body parts and/or having trouble breathing. Do not stop taking your hypertension drugs; also follow a diet that is good for the kidneys plus keep being active.

Kidney stone Left right both

Male | 22

Kidney stones might develop on one side of the body or both. They are similar to small stones that grow in a person's kidney. Signs include urine containing blood, having a problem urinating, and pain in the back or side. Causes may result from not drinking enough water and eating too much salt. To cure this condition, one may need to take a lot of fluid or use particular drugs; in some cases, an operation might be necessary to remove the stones.

I've test kidney function test all the parameters are in normal range except uric acid that is 7.9 mg/dl, and I want to take creatine supplement should i take it. (And before KFT test I had have ate fish and high purine food).

Male | 20

Your UA climb was up to 7.9mg/dl and you are considering using creatine. With higher UA comes greater chances for gout, a condition marked by pain and swelling in the joints. You should not take any creatine supplement right now while still eating fish and other high-purine foods since this would elevate your UA even further. To help decrease its level, stick with those things lower in purines.

Is nic showing on a bloodtest

Female | 17

When getting a blood test, it may show if someone has too much 'NIC' in their system. This happens when people eat too many things with salt or if their kidneys are not working well. If you feel thirsty and tired all the time, or if your feet and legs swell up - those could be signs that something is wrong because of too much 'NIC'.
