Hello doctor, so in 2022 I was diagnosed with typhoid in March. It was a 15-day treatment course. I made a full recovery in 1 month. Then, in July, I found 2 lymph nodes in my neck (level Il & IV), each less than 1cm. They were movable. The FNAC result was left cervical small swelling, reactive lymphoid hyperplasia. The lower one shrank a bit with meds, but today I noticed both nodes are still there and movable, just like 2 years ago. Do l need to get it checked again or is it normal?

Is It Safe to Climb Stairs While 40 Days Pregnant?

At 40 days, the unborn baby is still small but securely growing in the womb. It's important to reduce stress on your body during this stage. Climbing stairs is fine as long as you don't feel dizzy, tired, or experience any pain. Listen to your body and take it easy. If you have any concerns or unusual symptoms, talk to your gynecologist

Why is my nose to teeth hurting?

The pain which goes from the nose to the teeth has several reasons. It might be a sinus infection, a tooth infection, or even problems with the jaw. See the dentist first to rule out any teeth problems. If there are no issues with your teeth, then a visit to an ear, nose, and throat doctor might be necessary to check the sinus or jaw problems. You can also use a warm compress on your face to help with the pain as a remedy.

Could my frequent severe headaches be serious?

It sounds like you may be experiencing a migraine. Migraines can cause severe headaches along with symptoms like dizziness, blurred vision, shaky hands, restlessness, and sharp head pain. Some people also experience a buzzing sound or ringing in their ears. Try tracking your headaches and possible triggers, such as stress, lack of sleep, or certain foods. Stay hydrated, eat regular meals, and practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or light exercise. If the headaches persist, it's best to consult a neurologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Should I recheck movable cervical lymph nodes after FNAC results?

Lymph nodes are small defenders in your body that help fight infections. Sometimes, they stay a little swollen even after the infection is gone. In your case, the nodes are small and movable, which is a positive sign. Since they haven’t changed in size over the past two years and aren’t causing any issues, it’s likely just your body’s way of managing past infections. However, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on them. If they grow, become painful, or new symptoms appear, it's best to get them checked again for peace of mind.
