You are going through itching and redness, which could be different things. Skin irritants, allergies, insect bites, or eczema are a few of the common causes. To relieve yourself, use mild moisturizers, cold compresses, and over-the-counter antihistamines. If you continue scratching it may cause further irritation, so don't do that. If these signs do not go away or get worse then make a point of visiting a dermatologist.

I am a brunette and have noticed my roots are growing out about an inch of light blonde. Should I be worried?
Female | 17
You should see a dermatologist to get additional examinations and treatment and specify the reason for your hair color change. The reason could be any of the factors, such as genetics, hormonal change, or unknown medical conditions.

I have been getting flare ups on my ankles that are itchy and hot, they come and go every few weeks and I’m a little concerned
Female | 18
You may have eczema, a condition that can lead to itchy, inflamed patches of skin that usually show up on the back of your knees. This happens when your skin gets too dry and irritated. To relieve your symptoms, try using a mild moisturizer and staying away from strong soaps or detergents. If this doesn’t help, talk to a dermatologist who can give you more advice.

my pee becomes yellow after taking zincovit tablet
Male | 21
Zincovit has vitamin B2, making your urine look bright yellow, an ordinary effect. Your body discards extra vitamins it does not require, resulting in this coloring. Drink adequate water to maintain hydration. However, if the color shift troubles you or other worries arise, do inquire a urologist.

Theres a small red dots on my pennis and its dry..somtimes it goes away and sometimes it seens.Even its not causing any pain pr itching.
Male | 26
Small red dots appearing and disappearing on the penis without irritation or discomfort are likely penile papules. These benign growths frequently occur in males. Occasionally, they may seem dry. Their exact origin remains unclear, but they don't typically indicate serious health issues. Maintaining proper hygiene and avoiding harsh cleansers or moisturizers can help manage them. However, should any changes or discomfort arise, consulting a dermatologist is important for reassurance.

Good day, I want to consult you regarding a congenital nevus and a female child aged 7.5 years. The nevus is visible at the back of the back, measuring 2-2.5cm vertically and 1-1.5cm horizontally. Is it safe to remove the nevus, is it possible to remove it completely, without leaving any cell that would continue to grow and become malignant. Is it safe in the sense that there is no risk of turning into melanoma if it is split? Thank you in advance for asking, Nice day
Female | 7
A birthmark that grows is called congenital nevus. Most are harmless, but removal could help if it bothers your child or risks becoming melanoma (cancer). Talk to a dermatologist. If removal is best, they'll do it carefully to minimize any left cells that could maybe become cancerous. Watch for changes. Follow the doctor's advice.

I am having a small lump behind my ear just noticed right now the size is small
Female | 18
Discovery of a small lump behind your ear is a cause of some concern but on the other hand, the realization that you have noticed it is great news. Swelling in the lymph nodes might be a cause, which is enough to say that your body is under attack by infections. The increase in size may also be due to cysts, or skin conditions, such as fatty lumps. If there is no improvement or even if you get other symptoms, the best advice is to visit a dermatologist for a check to be on the safe side.

Hi , i’m a 24 year old arab woman i have fair skin and i have keratosis pilaris so i wanted to get rif of them by getting co2 laser on my whole arm??♀️ Well i did a really strong dosage that led to an infection on the burned skin And later on it turned to hyperpigmentation that j cant get rid of , also i have these weird red splotches on the burned skin that reaper randomly What do you recommend ?
Female | 24
The CO2 laser procedure was intense. This led to infection and dark spots. The red patches might be because your skin is healing. To help with dark spots, you can try gentle products. Like serums with vitamin C or niacinamide. Remember to protect from the sun too. If red patches remain or get worse, see a dermatologist.

Is it okay to use the candidiasis tablet when I am still a virgin, will I be affected on any way
Female | 23
Using a yeast infection tablet is fine if you're a virgin. Yeast infections are common. They can make you itchy and irritated, with a thick, white discharge. The tablet kills the yeast causing the infection. It's safe to use and won't hurt you. Follow the directions on the packaging, and you'll feel better soon.

Male | 23
If you're dealing with oily skin, acne, pigmentation, or other skin issues, I recommend using "The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%" serum. This product helps reduce sebum production and acne occurrence. For moisturizing, try "Cetaphil Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30" to keep your pores clear. You might also like "Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash," which is gentle on skin affected by impurities. To protect your skin from sun damage, apply "CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30." These products can help give your skin a radiant appearance.

Increase in hair whitening at a young age. Pls suggest to stop it and recover it
Male | 18
It is natural for our hair to change color as we grow older. However, if you see many grey hairs appearing before time, it can be annoying. This may occur because of different factors like genetics, stress, or lack of some vitamins. To avoid getting more grey hair, try managing stress levels, eating well-balanced meals rich in essential nutrients, and using mild hair care products. If you feel concerned about this issue, consult a dermatologist.

It is possible that you are suffering from a skin condition called eczema. Eczema is a chronic condition that causes the skin to become irritated, red, and itchy. If the itching is severe or does not improve with over-the-counter treatments, you should see a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment. A dermatologist can help diagnose the problem and provide you with the best treatment plan. They may suggest topical steroids, oral medications, light therapy, or other treatments to help control your symptoms.

So about a week ago i was prescribed some antibiotics for my UTI. He also prescribed me fluconazole in case the antibiotics he gave caused a yeast infection. I kinda noticed the antibiotics wasn’t helping bc it was still hurting when i urinate and during sexual intercourse along with it still being red down there and so i took the fluconazole last night and a few before i took it i noticed like 3 red bump like things in the left side crease of my private, i was bit scared of what it might be, i woke up it didn’t look as bad but there was a few more. it has been itching bc of the yeast infect and it hasn’t been itching these past two days but im a little nervous on what the little bumps could be. could it maybe be from the yeast infection or sweat bumps or what
Female | 18
Perhaps you have a yeast infection or a fungal infection in the private area. Yeast infections can cause redness, itching, and sometimes small bumps. These bumps are most likely due to the infection and not sweat bumps. To help this, complete your prescribed fluconazole and ensure the area is clean and dry. Avoid tight clothing and wear cotton underwear. If the symptoms do not go away or get more severe, it’s always good to check with your urologist.

I am 29 years old female suffering from ringworm/ bacterial scalp infection. I have consulted family doctor. He suggested flucolab -150 and some other medicine too. I am worried about hair fall and bald patches on skin. Please recommend shampoo to reduce redness and infection
Female | 29
Bacterial infection and ringworm are two different things. Ringworm is fungal infection that presents rings generally over the areas where there is more sweating like thigh area, under the breast or armpit area and that is to be treated by anti-fungal medication for long time like 1-2 months. Bacterial infection is the one which is present with the puss and boils and has to be treated with antibiotics. Fungal infection on the scalp is very uncommon in adults and its only a problem of pre-school children. Proper diagnosis is required for the treatment to work. Consult a dermatologist for the same.

Your hair loss is coming in clumps and here is the explanation. This can happen because of a condition called alopecia areata, which is characterized by patches of hair loss. Psychological trauma, family history, or a reaction of the immune system can all be the factors. A dermatologist is your first stop. Treatments like topical medications or injections can help promote hair regrowth.

Infection after shaving i think as ingrown hairs turned into boils that have puss in them how can I treat this at home
Female | 17
If ingrown hair has turned into painful boils with pus, try cleaning the area gently with warm water and soap. Apply warm compresses and avoid picking at the boils. Using over the counter antibiotics and wearing loose clothing can help. Maintain good hygiene and consider pain relief if needed. However, if the situation doesn't improve, worsens, or spreads, consult a dermatologist for proper treatment.
