Hi....sir iam hvng white patches on my face somebody's told me hypopegmention,dry white patches both side nose upper eyebrows on chicks some says lyk piyturia alba some things plz tel me ointment.,

White patches can be pityriasis alba which is an allergic reaction due to climatic change that presents dry ill defined white patches or hypopigmented patches commonly seen in children but might also seen in adults as well. The treatment is mild topical steroids like hydrocortisone. Apart from this using sunscreen is important. White patch can also be vitiligo which requires more prolonged treatment. It is always advisable to have proper diagnosis by dermatologist either by online or offline consultation.
