How can I prevent eczema from recurring quickly?

Patient's Query

How to recover from exima....it return again after 15 days.

Answered by Dr. Archit Aggarwal

Eczema is a skin condition where your skin gets red, itchy, and inflamed. It can be triggered by things like stress, certain soaps or detergents, or even allergies. To help with your eczema, it's important to keep your skin moisturized, avoid harsh chemicals, and try to manage your stress levels. In fact, using a gentle soap and applying a thick moisturizer daily can make a big difference. If your eczema continues to flare up, it might be a good idea to see a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment options.

Fungal acne may appear as very small pimples on your skin, especially the face area. It is by the yeast that lives on your skin. For it to get cleared off, use a non-irritating wash with salicylic acid, unhitch thick creams, and introduce antifungal substances such as tea tree oil. I want you to appreciate the process; it may require some time before you see a difference.

Itching, redness and sticky dandruff in beard. From last 10+ years. Issue resolve when clomatrizole applied but this time clomatrizole is not working. Want some generic ointment as can't afford expensive treatments.

Male | 35

You are suffering from a long-term problem with your beard itching, redness, and sticky dandruff. A skin condition seborrheic dermatitis may be the cause. Occasionally, the use of antifungal ointments like clotrimazole can be effective, but if this is not the case, you might want to use an ointment with hydrocortisone to decrease inflammation. Remember to wash and dry the area that is affected as this will help with the symptoms.

I have a great grown beard . And I don't use any grooming products on my beard so far . Just using a water to clean it . Couple week before when I trimmed my beard I had noticed patchy area on my left side of chin . And again today I have noticed it's spreading . Can you pls help me what ointment or suppliment I should use to get back my hair back

Male | 38

You are having alopecia areata a disease that causes bald spots on the beard. The situation is not life-threatening but it can be quite annoying. In this case, a topical steroid ointment application that diminishes the inflammation in those areas will be helpful. Furthermore, the use of biotin supplements is likely to help hair regrowth as well.

Seems like the problem is fungal in the intimate area. This is what's causing the itching and the pimple-like bump. The most important thing is to keep the area clean and dry so the healing can take place. Avoid rubbing or scratching the area as it can make it worse. You can try using an antifungal cream to help clear up the infection. Make sure to wear loose-fitting underwear and don't wear tight clothing as this will result in faster healing of the area.

Red rases in my face nd it’s itching. And itching in my scalp nd hair white issue

Male | 24

It seems that dandruff might be one of the conditions. The main symptom of dandruff is itching, and white particles of skin can be seen on hair. Sometimes, this condition might also produce red patches on the face, especially around the hairline area. The pathogen fungi on your scalp cause dandruff. For example, choose a shampoo that is specifically designed for dandruff. In particular, washing hair regularly along with the stress management procedure may also be beneficial for you.

I am 21 year old female. I have premature gery hair for last 4 years . But day by it increases. What should I do now?

Female | 21

It’s common to get gray hair early, especially if it started in your teenage years. This can be due to genetics, stress, or diet. While it might seem worrying, gray hair usually isn't a sign of a serious health problem. You can choose to use hair dye or embrace your natural look. Remember to eat a balanced diet, manage stress, and take good care of your hair.

I have alot of head lice and nits in my hair should i use ivermectin 6mg tablet for it or not

Female | 21

Head lice are little bugs that reside in your hair and give you an itch. The nits are the ovum of their species. Treating head lice is crucial to prevent the occurrence of new infections. Ivermectin tablets are an effective treatment although you should consult your doctor first. Shampoos are some of the over-the-counter treatments that may also be effective. The washing of clothing and bedding is necessary to avoid a second infestation.

Hello doc, My problem is that I have several dark spots and pimples on my face. I had tried several topical medication it didn't work out and my skin colour got blackened. Can I have a solution for this, In quick period of time.

Male | 20

I advise you to follow a proper skincare routine which includes washing your face twice a day with gentle cleanser and using a moisturizer that suits your skin type. Also, while going out wear a sunscreen with at least SPF of 30. Also, exfoliating 1-2 times a week can help. And avoid touching or squeezing your pimples as this can make your problem worse. For more help and guidance regarding your dark spots, I recommend visiting a dermatologist. I hope this proved helpful.
