Asked for Female | 27 Years

I am a 27 year old female and I have stretch marks on my buttocks. I'm not sure for how long but they are white stretch marks and they are spreading. What are my best options to at least reduce it if not get 100% riddance from them. Which treatments will give what kind of result and what would be the cost of it and how much time/sessions will they take? Please let me know.

  1. Stretch marks: are non-harmful tears in skin, and based on their color you can determine whether they are new or older.
Red stretch marks would be newer whereas whiter one is older, and accordingly more difficult to treat since they also indicate that the blood vessel below the skin has narrowed down and therefore won't respond to treatments as positively.
  2. Treatment options for stretch marks removal: laser, retinoid cream, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, and cosmetic surgery.
Dermatologist will start with creams and gradually progress and they will inform you about everything, also there might be some improvement but we suspect that 100% removal wouldn't be possible given that your stretch marks are white (i.e. older).
  3. Cosmetic surgery could go upto 1,30,000 INR, but other treatments could fall within the range of 3,000 INR to 15,000 INR. Depends on city & infrastructure of clinic, as well as experience of clinician.

Mera skin oily aur wrinkles hai kya kon sa medicine use kare please guide

Male | 28

It’s crucial to treat a combination of oily and wrinkled skin with great attention. Your skin turning oily can lead to blocked pores and acne. Wrinkles can be formed from aging and your skin receiving too much sunlight. Cleansing your oily skin can be aided by using a mild cleanser and an oil-free moisturizer. For wrinkles, contemplate using products that have both retinol and hyaluronic acid. Protect your skin by putting on sunscreen when the sun is out.

looking inflammation or can say Balanitis infection on front skin. Please suggest which doctor to consult Dermatologist/Urologist/Analogists or sexologist.

Male | 60

Balanitis is an inflammation of the skin located at the front end of the penis. If addressing the issue, professionals, such as dermatologists and urologists, who are experts in skin and urinary system disease may be consulted. The issue of balanitis springs from a lack of cleanliness, some skin conditions, or various infections. Recommendations from doctors include cleaning the area, prescription of medicated creams, or, if there is an infection, they might need to take antibiotics.

Hi. I've a question regarding my niece's skin problem. She is a 7-years old. She has developed red patches of skin on her cheek, chin and around nose. The affected area of her cheek is very dry. I brought her to a doctor who prescribed two creams, mezoderm(betamethasone) and gentamicin-akos which made things far worse. Then at the pharmacy I was advised to use ftorokart(also a cream with triamcinolone) for my niece's face. After a few uses of the cream, I've seen some noticeable improvement in her skin condition since she started to use it. It took the redness out of her nose. But she still has rash and blisters on her face. I took photos of her face in case it might be helpful for you to identify the reason for her skin condition. Here are the photos of hers: https://ibb.co/q9t8bSL https://ibb.co/Q8rqcr1 https://ibb.co/JppswZw https://ibb.co/Hd9LPkZ Would you mind helping us to identify what caused this skin condition?

I am suffering from a postpartum hair fall issue. What should I do?

Female | 30

Up to 50% of new moms suffer from normal postpartum hair loss due to such hormonal shifts. It typically spikes around 4-5 months and subsides in a period between six to twelve months. Pay attention to general health, softer hair washing and scalp massage. If hair loss is heavy, prolonged, or associated with scalp problems then it’s advised to see a dermatologist. You are not the only one, and your hair will likely be back to normal!
