How to remove skin darkness?

Patient's Query

I have been suffering from Skin darkness since a long time. How can I get rid of it? Suggest a good treatment and also its cost.

Dear ma'am, we are aware of 4 options as far as skin whitening treatments are concerned, and they are as follows:
Chemical peel (Rs. 1,800-5,500): in this treatment a solution containing alpha-hydroxy acid will be applied to your skin, which in turn will exfoliate the damaged upper layers of your skin and combat the melanin build up, to reveal healthy tissue beneath, this solution concentrate can be light, medium or deep, and will also work effectively on blemishes, dark spots and uneven skin tone.
Laser (Rs. 4,000-30,000): This procedure will make use of a concentrated light beam to minimize melanin content in your skin. Leaving your skin healthier and brighter than before, it will also help you overcome tanning and dark spots.
Injections (Rs. 6,000-40,000): they can detoxify the body, protect the skin from harmful UV rays and enhance your skin tone. It will use a dosage of glutathione however, which can detoxify the body and serve as barrier against harmful UV rays too, but however, they can be unsafe and have severe side effects as well.
Skin lightening products (Rs. 200-20,000: This option will provide you with a wide range of creams with bleaching properties for you to choose from. These are good for instant gratification but may not deliver long lasting results. You may have to approach a highly experienced dermatologist to avail above treatments, you may refer from our list of dermatologists in India to get more information.

Hairloss dandruff itching hair growth problem what can I use and what is the solution

Female | Zeenat

Hair loss, dandruff, itching, and hair problems can be associated with one another. Dandruff is a source of itchiness and hair fall. Stress, or not washing hair regularly, or a skin condition may give rise to dandruff. Cure with anti-dandruff shampoos. The itching can be satisfied with the help of gentle washing and using mild products. Hair growth can be boosted by a good diet and hair hygiene.

I am 34 yrs old female and I have acne and acne marks problem on my face - recently my face has been very dry and acne is coming also I have tight white pores issue which is making my skin look very dull and uneven.

Female | 34

As you are 34 years old, there might be some hormonal issues leading to acne. Consult local dermatologist for treatment who might prescribe you some topical antibiotics benzoyl peroxide or daplin or oral drugs depending upon the situation. It is advisable to use moisturizers, particularly water-based that do not uproot the pores because medication usage might result in dryness and little irritation. Your Skin will be much better after the treatment for Acne.

My roommate has said she had a cold sore for the last two days. And I’m a bit worried. She gave me a piece of food that she bit off of and offered me and also a drink (I didn’t drink off the straw, rather just our the cup) I’m a bit nervous, I’m not sure if she had an outbreak during those times but it was about two / three days ago. Could herpes be spread in that way? (I definitely could be uneducated but just a bit nervous)

Female | 20

Cold sores result from the herpes simplex virus spread by close contact such as kissing or sharing eating utensils. Nonetheless, passing herpes through sharing food or drinks is very unlikely. Signs may commence with a tingling sensation and itching feeling then develop into blisters on the lips or around the mouth. To avoid contracting herpes simplex virus, refrain from sharing cutlery and glasses besides washing hands often.

Itching only on left side particular side only

Female | 34

When the itching is only on one side of your body, it might mean that something is irritant your skin. Occasionally, allergies or dermatitis that is caused by eczema can be the reasons for that. Moreover, nerve disorders or infections may be the causes. Look if you have any rashes or skin discoloration. Try to refrain from scratching as it may cause an infection. The application of a light moisturizer or a calm cream can give some relief.
