Remove body's mole. What is the cost?

Answered by Samruddhi Bhartiya

You can get your moles removed by shaving them, by using laser, through manual removal using stitches, or through electric cauterization.

Discuss these options with a doctor at length, as well as their pre-operative measures and post-operation care.

The risks of mole removal will be a bad reaction to anesthesia and nerve damage, but these are rare occurrences, and the common side effects include stinging sensation at the site of treatment as well as scarring.

The broader estimate according to us is Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 12,000 per mole, but depending on the size/depth/shape/color of mole, as well as the technique of removal used, the experience of treating clinician, and value-added services/location/infrastructure of clinic, the actual cost can exceed our estimated cost range.

Questions & Answers on "Dermatology" (2721)

Hello doctor, I am 36 years old male and I have had mycosis fungoides for around 3-4 years. My staging concluded as 1A. I have not received any systemic chemotherapy, I have received only topical treatment with clobetasol and bexarotene creams and now my patches are mostly gone. I haven't had serious new patches in more than a year. I am about to get married and start a family. And my question is, can I have kids while having mycosis fungoides ? Would it increase the chances of my kids to have MF ?

Male | 36

Yes, you can have kids with mycosis fungoides. However, it is advised to discuss your plans with your dermatologist who can help guide you through the process. While there is no known risk of your children developing mycosis fungoides, it is important to monitor your children for any skin changes and to seek medical attention if any concerns arise.

My lip is itchy from past 3to 4 days. Why is it so

Female | 25

An itchy lip can be due to poor hydration, an allergic reaction or even a cold sore. It is recommended to see a dermatologist for a correct diagnosis and treatment choice. In due course, refrain from licking your lips and use petroleum jelly to moisturize your lips.

But still it's been 5 days we have not found any improvement of my father health .

Male | 61

It's natural to worry when there is no improvement, Scrotal wall cellulitis usually pops up with some redness and discomfort. Similarly, known causes can be due to infection from bacteria. Usually, the ways we can provide relief by the use of antibiotics but not everyone go smooth at the beginning of recovering. In case your father does not exhibit any positive signs after 5 days, this is a valuable time for him to get a check-up with his doctors. They can do all the necessary examinations and propose some treatments that might help him. On the other hand, a doctor's surveillance and prescription are important if you want to cope with such infections.

Female | 25

Hives, a fever and stomach aches suck. Plus your tests showing low albumin and high ESR and CRP are like major red flags. It could be that there is inflammation somewhere in your body. You need to see your doctor again so they can try and work out what’s causing it and how best to treat you.

I've been using Clobeta Gm for my face and it works great for my skin. I've used others Creams and serums suggested by doctors and some serums by watching online suggestions but this which I brought for some fungal infection works great for my skin on my face. I've used this before about 2 years back it worked before also but I've stopped using because of fear that this might cause any problems in my future but I'm these 2 years my acne got worse I've tried all possible sources but nothing did work for my skin. After losing hope i remembered this and now I started using this and again it gave me results. I don't if something is wrong with my skin or what works for it. I just need a approval that this doesn't cause any future permanent damage in future and i also wanna know about this cream whether it is safe or not - it's clobeta GM cream ( clobetasol propionate, neomycin sulphate, miconaxole, zinc oxide and borax cream 20g) it's composition: clobeta propionate I.P 0.05% w/w ,Neomycin Sulphate I.P 0.5% w/w , Miconazole Nitrate I.P. 2.0 % w/w,Zinc Oxide I.P 2.5% w/w,Borax B.P. 0.05% w/w,Chlorocresol(as preservative) I.P. 0.1% w/w,Cream base.

Hi, my mom wore sandals and it cut a little part of the top of her foot skin. It’s like a round circle and you can see the red skin. She has been using different foot medicine like antiseptic spray, rolled gauze bands, vaseline. She has took ibuprofen for pain. What can she do so it heals faster and relief pain?

Female | 60

Your mom likely developed a foot wound from friction with her sandal. Inflamed red skin indicates irritation. Antiseptic spray application was smart for preventing infections. Rolled gauze bandages shield the wound area. Vaseline keeps skin moisturized, promoting healing. Taking ibuprofen reduces discomfort and swelling. For quicker recovery, keeping the wound clean and dry while avoiding pressure on that foot is crucial.
