Why do I have rashes and itching on my butt?

Patient's Query

Rashes and itching on butt

Answered by Dr. Anju Methil

Rashes and itching on your butt could be due to a few reasons. One common cause is contact dermatitis from irritants like soaps or laundry detergents. Friction from clothing or moisture can also lead to irritation. In some cases, fungal infections like jock itch can cause similar symptoms. To help ease your discomfort, try wearing loose cotton clothing, using a mild soap, and keeping the area dry. If it doesn't improve or gets worse, it's best to see a dermatologist for a proper evaluation and treatment.

Hello this is Kalyan age 21 male, I've been fighting with acne for a period of 3years and even more. Tried different medications , remedies didn't worked, finally consulted a dermatologist, he recommended using Zitblow 10mg, it worked for an extent after being used for 1 years but the problem is there were still black heads on my cheeks which are stubborn and difficult to remove. I'm hoping to get some solution to the problem. Currently I'm not using any of the medications except for the cream called Acne star.

One of the leading causes of acne is that hair follicles get clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Acne results in blackheads which are the most ideal from the opening of the hair follicle. However, you can be sure that Zitblow 10mg is a really good option. The other options may contain a very gentle exfoliator to clear out the blackheads, but you need to be careful not to damage your skin. In addition, adhering to a really good skincare routine, exfoliating your face, and keeping it clean also can be beneficial to minimize the prospect of blackheads at an early stage.

Hi I am the patient of Dr .Vivek Mishra I am under his treatment for pigmentation and acne marks also have done my Skin Peel on last month of 25 th ...Now I am looking for Hydra Facial ..And so need have a word with him ..

Female | 37 years

A Hydra Facial is the best choice of action since it will not only cleanse your skin but also exfoliate and hydrate it, which will ensure good results following the previous peel of the skin. My suggestion is that before getting the skin peel, you should connect with Dr. Vivek Mishra, get the details sorted, and ensure that this treatment fits well within your current care plan. The doctor's advice plays two main roles in both safety and performance. Keep your spirits up, and stay safe!

I want to know about genital warts

Female | 25

Genital warts result from a virus which spreads via sex; they resemble tiny bumpy growths and may appear pink or flesh-colored, sometimes causing itchiness or pain. A dermatologist should be consulted for treatment; this could involve prescribing a cream or carrying out procedures to remove them. The use of protection during sexual activity can help prevent their transmission.

I have to use cleanser water and which one is better for me I don’t know I’m sensitive skin

Female | 17

It is best to consult a dermatologist who can recommend a suitable cleanser for your skin type. A gentle, fragrance-free cleanser that is designed for sensitive skin, such as Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, could be a good option. However, it is always best to seek professional advice to ensure the best care for your skin. They may ask other health conditions like regarding your gut health, other issues etc and accordingly prescribe.
