Answered by Samruddhi Bhartiya

Depending on the degree to which your acne & spots are raised, you can also explore the undermentioned options:

  • Laser treatment: Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 22,000
  • Microdermabrasion: Rs. 1500 to Rs. 6000
  • Chemical peels: Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 10,000 per session.
    • These can work for people of all skin types, but if you have any skin condition such as pigmentation/etc, then there could be complications.
    • The incurred cost can exceed the range estimated by us, owing to factors such as location/experience of the clinician, severity of concern, number of sessions, area covered, and value-added services provided by the clinic.

I AM GOING TO PROVIDE YOU A REPORT I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE POSSIBLE REASON BEHIND THE CONDITION AND WHAT EXACTLY THE IMPRESSION MEANS AND ALSO IS IT SERIOUS ISSUE LIKE CANCER AND AUTO IMMUNE DISEASE. HERE IS THE REPORT.... USG LOCAL REGION CLINICAL HISTORY-Swelling in right submandibular region since 1 month. H/o surgical procedure a month back. ON USG SCANNING- There is evidence of heterogeneous predominantly hypoechoic thick walled collection in subcutaneous soft tissue region in right submandibular region measuring 3 x 0.8cm (2cc). It shows mobile internal echoes and peripheral vascularity. Surrounding soft tissue is shows thickening. The collection is 1.7mm deep to the skin surface. Prominent submandibular lymphnode measuring 13 x 6mm and few prominent cervical lymphnodes largest measuring 16 x 8mm are noted on right side. Multiple subcentimeter sized cystic nodules are noted in thyroid Underlying vessels show normal colour flow and waveforms. Visualized bony cortex appears normal. IMPRESSION: SUBCUTANEOUS ABSCESS FORMATION AT THE SITE OF SUBMANDIBULAR SWELLING WITH REACTIVE CERVICAL AND SUBMANDIBULAR LYMPHADENOPATHY.

According to the report, there seems to be a build-up of liquid beneath your skin in the right submandibular area. This is likely an abscess causing swelling and soreness. The report also notes swollen lymph nodes in your neck region. Swollen lymph nodes often indicate your body fighting an infection. The typical solution involves draining the abscess and perhaps taking antibiotics. This issue is unrelated to cancer or autoimmune disorders. Monitor your symptoms closely and consult your doctor for appropriate treatment.

My toe nails are changing to a yellow color..also I have skin peeling between my toes and it hurts very much.. can you prescribe me anything for it..I'm guessing it's athletes feet and toe nails fungus

Female | 40

Your symptoms sound like athlete’s foot and toenail fungus. An athlete’s foot can cause your nails to turn yellow, make the skin on your feet peel off, and make your toes hurt. The fungus that leads to athlete’s foot loves warm, damp areas – like sweaty feet. You can use over-the-counter antifungal creams on your skin and nails to treat it. Also, try to keep your feet clean and dry so they are less appealing to the fungus.

I have an itchy scalp . I use shampoos to clean my scalp and also tried all home remedies as I could do but not getting cured. Kindly give me a solution.

Female | 19

Your scalp problem could be a medical issue that requires medical treatment. I recommend you should pay a visit to a dermatologist, who is a skin expert. They can detect the condition and recommend the medications or treatment option that should be taken. Avoid using any harsh chemicals on your scalp until you have been to a doctor.

My hair has a lot of dandruff and hair loss

Female | 24

Dandruff is a COMMON scalp condition causing itching and flaking. Hair loss can be caused by GENETICS, stress, or illness. Maintaining good scalp hygiene can help reduce dandruff. Use a medicated shampoo containing SALICYLIC ACID or KETOCONAZOLE to treat dandruff. Consider seeing a dermatologist if symptoms persist. Eat a balanced diet rich in PROTEIN and VITAMINS for healthy hair..

Pigmentation is not treated quickly. It takes a while for treatments to work. But you can visit a dermatologist and discuss this. Based on your particular condition, he may suggest some alternative treatments that may work for you like chemical peels, laser treatments, topical creams etc. Hope this helps.

I want to know about genital warts

Female | 25

Genital warts result from a virus which spreads via sex; they resemble tiny bumpy growths and may appear pink or flesh-colored, sometimes causing itchiness or pain. A dermatologist should be consulted for treatment; this could involve prescribing a cream or carrying out procedures to remove them. The use of protection during sexual activity can help prevent their transmission.
