Gently caring for the skin after a chemical peel will treat breakouts. Ensure the treated area remains clean and does not cause irritation by use of a mild, non-comedogenic cleanser. Apply a calming and hydrating cream to keep skin moistures balanced. Do not touch or break the pimples to avoid irritation and scarring. Consult your dermatologist to get personalized advice on post-peel care and perhaps altering your skincare regimen in order to manage breakouts appropriately.

First thing to do is relax.

The combination of larger amounts of dead skin due to the oeel and inflammation from the procedure can lead to pimples.

We know how frustrating it can be, but after this initial breakout, the skin should clear up within just a few days and look healthier.

Chemical peel is a controlled injury to skin to take away the most superficial layer. The procedure causes dryness and peeling. Also it makes your skin very sensitive.

Always apply and repeat your sunscreen and moisturiser every 2-3 hours. wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Do not pick, scratch or pulls on the peeling skin. If you think there is redness or infection contact your doctor and start local antibiotics
