I am Concerned About My Mental Health: Solutions?
im concerned about my mental health

If you are unhappy, anxious, or angry most of the time; struggle to focus, or no longer find pleasure in activities you once enjoyed, then it might be helpful for you to know that these are symptoms of a possible mental health problem. If you want to feel better, consider talking it out with someone who you trust – this helps more than keeping everything bottled up inside which only makes matters worse over time. You could also try some relaxation exercises like deep breathing techniques or mindfulness meditation; keeping busy through physical exercises such as jogging or swimming may help too – not forgetting to seek professional help/guidance from a counselor/therapist.

I am a 32 year old male, who feels effaminate, feminine, unmanly, girlish, and have super low self confidence, self esteem, willpower, self control, and have serious aforesaid social issues. I have zero motivation, and despise myself. I have been diagonised as bipolar disorder, and had been taking medications for more than 14 years, but if no avail. My recent psychiatrist advised me to check with an endroconologist, and a psychotherapist who specializes in sexuality. Any suggestion?
Male | 32
It seems you are in depressive phase of bipolar disorder, and you most likely seems to have bipolar II, where in one has more of depressive episodes, and short hypomanic episodes, one needs to take mood stabilizers under supervision of psychiatrist to control mood swings( from hypo mania to depression ) along with antidepressants which should help to recover from your illness , and need to psycho educate the patient and relatives on symptoms of both depression and hypomanic episodes

Schizophrenia from 4 years
Male | 23
Schizophrenia is a brain disorder, due to which individuals may occasionally believe that they can see or hear things that are not there, are unable to control their thoughts and translate them into proper directions, experience paralyzing fear, or believe that other people are planning to harm them. Thus, it might be that their thoughts are disjointed and rather difficult to follow. It is often recognized as associated with confusion. A group of inheritable factors, as well as the influence of the environment, can be held responsible for the development of schizophrenia.

I was taken daxid 50 mg tablet .I am feared that tablet side effects.if any problem are effected male sexual hormone level
Male | 19
It is completely understandable to worry about the side effects of a medicine. Male hormone levels can be affected by Daxid 50 mg occasionally. This might lead to symptoms such as low sex drive or difficulty in achieving an erection. The reason for this is that the drug has an impact on serotonin levels in the brain. If you are going through these things, it would be best to talk to your doctor about them.

At times, people with bipolar disorder can also experience hallucinations and paranoid thoughts. I had drug induced psychosis how can I know if it’s only drug induced psychosis or if it’s like schizophrenia or something
Male | 22
A psychiatrist’s consult needs to make a determination whether your psychosis is substance abused induced or if it may signify a more serious mental illness, like schizophrenia. A psychiatrist can conduct a comprehensive assessment and steer you in the right direction for treatment. I suggest that you see a psychiatrist who specializes in psychotic disorders.

Always consult your doctor before stopping antidepressants....Abrupt cessation can cause withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms may include DIZZINESS, nausea, and anxiety....Tapering off slowly is recommended. Your doctor can help you develop a tapering schedule....Stopping abruptly can lead to relapse....Relapse may cause a worsening of symptoms....Withdrawal symptoms can also occur with tapering..But tapering can help minimize the severity of symptoms....Regular monitoring by your doctor is important..........

I am using inderal 10mg twice and escitalophram 10 mg daily for anxiety from last 1 year.. Now i am good last time doctor said that we will reduce yout dose and then gradually quit this medication. Now iam far away from city and cannot go there kindly suggest me how to reduce dose
Male | 22
I advise against abruptly discontinuing any medication without consulting your doctor, especially when managing anxiety. Abruptly stopping drugs such as Inderal and Escitalopram can lead to serious withdrawal symptoms. It is preferable to seek guidance from a psychiatrist or mental health specialist for a proper tapering schedule to minimize potential adverse effects. It's crucial to follow your doctor's instructions and regularly update them about your condition.

By the way, Stilpain should help ease the pain but it would be better if you could see a psychiatrist soon to discuss everything with them. This is a tough situation with the 14-year-old child you're dealing with. It appears he is suffering from aggressive behavior, outbursts, and a lack of control over his emotions. These symptoms can be caused by various reasons, including emotional distress, underlying mental health issues, or neurological conditions. As he is already seeing a neurologist, it is crucial to maintain communication with the healthcare team to assess and treat the condition properly. Medications may be given to him to help regulate his mood and behavior.

Several months ago, I experienced a sudden and strong fear in one of the cafes, to the point that I felt a squeeze in my heart, pain, and a very strong palpitation, as if it had reached my stomach. I had to cough to relieve the palpitations and suffocation. Days later, I quickly became afraid of the simplest, even daily, situations, even if a simple emotion caused me strong palpitations and suffocation. And the tremors and coldness of the extremities. I read about diseases of the adrenal gland and became very afraid. The condition increased with great fear. I now cannot stand leaving the house and am very afraid of any feelings, even if the feelings are happiness or good feelings and also i get dizzy when i stand up too fast is it possible that there is something dangerous with the adrenal gland?
