Hello, We've visited one of the top cardiologist in Bangalore who has recommend that a bypass is not necessary based on the angiogram report. The same cardiologist had successfully operated earlier, where a stenting was done. However, my brother in law who is a doctor and based out of Canada has a different opinion (based on the report and the advice from his friend (cardiologist) who thinks and is certain that a bypass is necessary within the next 2-3 weeks. We have 2 extremely contrasting opinions. We would like to get a second opinion from a cardiologist is Bangalore. Please recommend. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Regards, Kiranp
As per my understanding you are having two different opinions by two cardiologist regarding the treatment of your patient, so the confusion has arise, but to decide what is a best treatment of patient, clinical examination matters a lot, along with evaluation of reports. As per my understanding, the patient is having LVEF 10% and is walking and talking normally (leading a normal active healthy life). To me it seems to one of the rare case where a person having LVEF 10% and leading active healthy life. Hello, I have been having pain in my right shoulder and in my chest around my heart area, but when I take my prescribed medication for my heart. It doesn't alleviate the pain. I had a massive heart attack back in 2011 and I currently have a defibrillator, so now I take Aspirin, Lisenapril and a couple of other meds, but I notice that I still have pain on my left side which makes it kinda hard to breathe. I work as a dishwasher and I don't do a lot of heavy lifting, so I don't know what it could be. I can barely lift my arm because of it. Please help!

My husband is diabetic and has high cholesterol and is taking medicines for both. He has central obesity. His recent echo showed diastolic dysfunction. Left ventricle edv is 58 ml and esv is 18 ml. May I know whether he has coronary artery disease. He also has leg weakness when lying down. And has chronic cough which is mild. He has family history of heart disease. Latest cbc showed mpv 12.8. Crp 9, esr 15mm/hr.

Hello sir, I am suffering from chest muscle tightness from past 2 years. It can be felt more while lying on bed. I release the stiffness by moving my neck and head on opposite side of stiffness. My wife aged 60 is having slow pumping of blood in the left ventricle after taking ecg, echo and angiogram etc. The functioning of the heart is 65%.
