Im a 18 year old male havin leg injury some 2 to 3 months ago and it'll Heald but there is a puss in side so i make a small hole to gett it out but now the hole cant gets heal... So what can i do

Male | 19

Pus is a sign of infection; hence, your wound can be infected. The next steps are to keep clean areas, apply an antibiotic ointment, and cover them with a bandage. Moreover, you need to talk to a doctor to be sure the wound is healing well.

Is the presence of fluid in the knee two years post knee replacement a cause for concern?

Male | 45

a fluid in the knee is something to worry about because it might be an infection or loosening of an implant. A visit to an orthopedic specialist is necessary so that the condition can be evaluated and suitable treatment advised. In some cases, postponing treatment may result in additional complications that will require more aggressive procedures.

But even it bleed. I don't know what's to do. It's like whenever i do dressing the wound get damaged and bleed because the bandage gets to stick to it because of blood. I use megaheal or betadine for dressing but mostly bettadin because after doing dressing with megaheal it hey pus ( little bit ) in the wound it happens to wound on elbow and feet please tell how can I solve this. And lil bit sorry for the bad explanation. And thanks

Male | 17

The redness, bleeding, and pus are signs that your wounds might be infected. It's important to keep the wounds clean and dry. Use Betadine for dressing, as it helps prevent infection. Avoid putting too much pressure on your leg wounds to reduce bleeding. Your wounds will heal with time.

Mild pain in left testis and left leg

Male | 23

The pain might come from a varicocele, like a varicose vein in your testicle. It slows blood flow and causes aching. To help, wear supportive underwear and avoid standing too long. But if pain worsens or you notice swelling or changes in your testis, see a doctor. This rules out serious problems.

I have slight tendonitis in entire arm. I had an angiogram 10 days ago. After forearm and swelling subsided in a day or two, my tendinitis ramped up in pain. It's very uncomfortable. Especially in the bicep... is is from traveling

Male | 65

Your arm probably doesn't feel good after the angiogram. The tendinitis flared up from the procedure. It causes aching in the bicep area. Try applying ice packs and stretching gently. Also, give your arm a break. Consult the medical team if pain continues. They performed the angiogram, so they'll advise you properly.

I diagnosed with Ankylosing spondylitis arthritis on feb 2024 that time my ESR was 70 and now its down to 26 whats that mean

Female | 25

An ESR test measures inflammation levels in your body. A lower ESR reading, like 26, indicates less inflammation compared to a higher value like 70. This suggests the inflammatory condition is relatively better controlled. Ankylosing spondylitis causes back pain and stiffness due to inflammation in the spine. Effective management involves staying physically active through exercise routines, adhering to prescribed medications, maintaining a balanced diet, and avoiding tobacco use.
