What factors affect the cost of Sinus operation in India?

Many factors will affect the cost of your sinus surgery. Below we have listed the factors.

  • Location of procedure: The operation may be performed in a hospital, surgical facility, doctor's office, or another site. The most affordable location is typically, but not always, a doctor's office.
  • Type of procedure: These might be balloon sinuplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, or another sinus operation. Irrespective of the kind, the sinus surgery's components might affect the price. Most balloon sinuplasty treatments take place in a doctor's office, which typically, but not always, results in a lesser cost than endoscopic sinus surgery.
  • Procedure components: Nasal polyps may be removed during surgery, and the deviated septum may be straightened. The cost may increase due to these various procedures.
  • Procedure duration: Costs are prone to increase with longer operational times.
  • You may be given a sedative, local anesthetic, topical anesthetic, intravenous (IV) sedation, general anesthetic, which will put you to sleep, or a combination of these, depending on the procedure. The involvement of an anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist will probably increase your costs.

I am a 17 male who is visiting France from the US. I just got to France yesterday, but was in UK for 9 days before that. Yesterday, my dad started experiencing symptoms, and today, my mom, my sister, and I are all experiencing symptoms as well. My main symptom is sore throat and difficulty swallowing. As a tourist, our options are limited. I have started taking OTC Humex Rhume to help with symptoms.

Male | 17

You and your family may have caught a cold virus, which is highly contagious when people are in close contact. Some symptoms that come along with having a cold include a sore throat and trouble swallowing. Taking over-the-counter Humex Rhume can relieve these symptoms. Make sure to drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest.

Male | 37

After your sinus surgery, you may have to use nasal spray. The spray could help with swelling and dryness in your nose. You might feel stuffy, under pressure, or congested after surgery. Taking the spray like your doctor says can aid these symptoms. It also helps your nose heal. Make sure to follow the doctor's directions.

I am suffering from throat pain and ear pain from last 10 days.I had one course of Azithromycin and Amoxicillin. Still no change

Female | 33

Throat with ear pain persistent despite antibiotics can mean a few things. Non responsiveness to antibiotics could mean resistance, you could have a different issue than an infection that's causing pain. Please visit your local ENT for detailed evaluation and diagnosis.

Is this enlarged turbinate and if so what caused it and could it go away on its own? I can’t breathe through my nose for the past two days only. Was completely normal prior to that and I was able to breathe through my nose with my mouth completely closed. Plz help

Female | 25

It sounds like you may be experiencing nasal congestion, which can occur due to factors like allergies, a respiratory infection, or environmental irritants. Swelling in the nasal passages can temporarily hinder airflow, making breathing through your nose difficult. In many cases, this condition improves on its own within a few days as inflammation subsides. To alleviate symptoms, consider using saline nasal sprays or a humidifier. Drinking plenty of fluids can also help. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend consulting a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation and personalized treatment.

I am suffering from Allergic Rhinitis for more than a week. This happened many times before. The condition is very uncomfortable. Medicines do not produce immediate effects. I do saline wash and take vaour once in the evening. Is it not possible to get it cured permanently?

Male | 70

Sneezing, stuffy or runny nose, and itchiness are the common symptoms of it. Often Allergic Rhinitis is produced by allergens like pollen, dust mites, or pet hair getting inside your body and irritating your immune system. Unfortunately, the permanent cure does not exist, but managing symptoms with a saline wash, antihistamines, and avoiding triggers may make it more manageable.

Good evening,,i have alot of mucus even while am not sick, which medicine should i use to stop mucus

Female | 22

Dealing with excess mucus without illness feels very bothersome. The mucus might happen due to allergies, irritants, or weather changes. An over-the-counter saline nasal spray helps. It thins mucus, so you clear your nose easier. But read instructions carefully on medication labels.

Dear Doctor, I'm an 18-year-old male. About 15-16 days ago, I had a really bad cold with symptoms including a sore throat, headache, and fever. After 7-8 days, my cold symptoms healed, but I still had a sore throat, hoarse voice, a completely blocked right ear, and I was constantly coughing up green mucus. Four days ago, I visited a doctor and was prescribed moxifloxacin 400mg once a day for 5 days (today is day 3). While my coughing has generally decreased, I still have a sore throat and my right ear is still blocked, although it did briefly open for a few minutes yesterday. This has been ongoing for three weeks, and I'm starting to lose hope as I'm not sure what I have or if I'll get better. In addition to moxifloxacin, here are the other medications I'm currently taking: Nasacort AQ (once a day) - today is day 6 Phenadone (twice a day) - today is day 8 Nexium (once a day) - today is day 6 Ganaton (three times a day) - today is day 6 Seretide Accuhaler Diskus (twice a day) - today is day 8 Polymer Adult Hypertonic 3% (twice a day) - today is day 3 Could you please help me understand what might be causing these persistent symptoms and advise on any further steps I should take? Thank you for your assistance.
