I went to urgent care yesterday for chest pain. They told me that my EKG said that my heart might not be getting enough blood/oxygen flow on the right side, and could have been from a mini heat attack from smoking even though I’m only 17. My husband is diabetic and has high cholesterol and is taking medicines for both. He has central obesity. His recent echo showed diastolic dysfunction. Left ventricle edv is 58 ml and esv is 18 ml. May I know whether he has coronary artery disease. He also has leg weakness when lying down. And has chronic cough which is mild. He has family history of heart disease. Latest cbc showed mpv 12.8. Crp 9, esr 15mm/hr.

Hello, We've visited one of the top cardiologist in Bangalore who has recommend that a bypass is not necessary based on the angiogram report. The same cardiologist had successfully operated earlier, where a stenting was done. However, my brother in law who is a doctor and based out of Canada has a different opinion (based on the report and the advice from his friend (cardiologist) who thinks and is certain that a bypass is necessary within the next 2-3 weeks. We have 2 extremely contrasting opinions. We would like to get a second opinion from a cardiologist is Bangalore. Please recommend. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Regards, Kiranp

Hi, I have been experiencing chest pain since Nov'18. Post which I have done 7 ECG test, a stress test and the results were normal. I was advised hyperactivity medicines, however the pain never stopped. I met a Gastroenterologist, who confirmed no issues. Than I met a cardiologist who suggested for 2D echo, did it, it was normal. Then I did sonography, stage 1 fatty liver observed. Than did angiography, no blockages observed, however the blood flow is slow. Now I am left with nothing... The chest pain still persists, post angiography I also feel numbness in my left arm. Don't know what to do. I was recommended following medicines post angiography... strovas Dilzem sr Pan 40mg I have already started following a proper diet. Avoiding junk food, extra salt, oil etc. This has started affecting my work and i am unable to deviate from the thought of the pain
