How can I sleep better with workload stress?

Patient's Query

My relative has a sleeping problem he can't sleep properly, he have some workload and that's a reason he can't take a good sleep, family doctor sujjest a pills he taken it and when he take a pill he will sleep very good peacefully

Answered by Dr. Vikas Patel

It sounds like your relative is really struggling with getting a good night's sleep due to his workload. It's quite common for stress and a busy mind to interfere with our sleep patterns. Taking pills to help sleep can be a temporary solution, but it's important to address the root cause. Encourage your relative to try relaxation techniques like deep breathing, gentle exercise, or creating a calming bedtime routine. If the sleep problems persist, it might be helpful for him to speak to the psychiatrist to explore other options or even consider seeing a sleep specialist.

I am 31 year old living alone abroad. I am working here and going through a phase of getting married. I have had previous short term relationships. My fiance is living in India and will be moving with me after marriage. The biggest struggle these days is getting flashbacks of the good days from previous relationships and not liking many things of my Fiance. Since the recent past, I'm having multiple panic attacks and want to cry (somehow not able to cry). Also, I am getting suicidal thoughts which was never the case before. Sometimes I also imagine completely disappearing and start a life somewhere with new Identity and losing all the contacts with family and friends.

I get fainting and I have so many negative thoughts and it's change my behaviour and I suffer lot

Female | 18

Your drooping spirits and the negatives in your thinking have the consequence of your behavior. Various causes of these signs are found hence people having been under a lot of stress or anxiety experience the same feeling. When you go through the emotions focus on the end of this exercise: slow breathing and calming of the soul. Besides, communicating with your close friends or even family members can be helpful. You can also recognize that it's important to ask for help when needed.

I was prescribed adderall and klonopins throughout most of my 20s. My doctor retired when I was 30 years old and I never got a new doctor, therefore I stopped getting my medications. I am now 40 and truly feel like I need to be back on my meds. What should I do to get prescribed my medications as soon as possible?

Male | 40

To get back on your medications, it's important to visit a psychiatrist or a general physician who can assess your current condition and prescribe the necessary treatment. Explain your medical history and the medications you were on. They will guide you on the best course of action and may restart your previous prescriptions after a thorough evaluation.

Sir early I was good student but now iam not good student and I can't concentrate accurately and I feel meaningful works difficult early I feel good to enjoy but now I don't feel happy to outside enjoy

Male | 17

It seems like you might be going through depression or anxiety. These factors may impair your capacity to focus and an activity you used to enjoy. I suggest seeking advice from a mental health professional to review your symptoms and to talk about the treatment options. They will work with you to design a plan that fits your needs, so that you can feel better and more active.

Female | 15

I can understand how waiting for exam scores makes you feel very bad. Your body can get weak, and afraid, and your heart can beat fast when you are anxious. It is just how your body acts when it feels stress. To feel good, try breathing deeply, talk to someone about how you feel, and do things you like. Remember, exam scores do not show who you are as a person.
