Why am I not feeling caffeine, codeine, or nicotine?

I haven't been feeling the effects of drugs like caffeine, codeine or nicotine for some time now and it's concerning me. I was put onto risperidone and propranolol for seven months before this started happening. Could you help me determine the cause?

I am 12 years old and i took valerian to sleep and ive been feeling anxious drowsy and been having insomnia ive lost my appetite too please tell me a way how to fix it at home

Male | 12

The use of valerian can lead to side effects such as anxiety, drowsiness, and insomnia. Also, a loss of appetite is a usual issue. To make it easier, drink a lot of water, eat light meals, and engage in calm activities like walking. Being careful not to take any more valerian is important. You will feel better shortly if you rest and take care of yourself.

I have trouble falling back to sleep when I wake up in middle of the night. What do I do?

Male | 25

One of the reasons that might be causing this is probably stress or anxiety. Although you need to sleep, your mind is busy processing thoughts that have been bothering you. Try relaxation exercises. One example is meditation through deep breathing or exercises to keep your mind off the problem. You can chat with a sleep specialist if this continues.

can i take propranolol before parachuting

Male | 24

If you take propranolol before skydiving, that might not be safe. Before such a high-energy activity the drug may slow down your pulse and lower blood pressure, which is risky. During acute stress situations such as this one it is necessary for the heart to beat fast so as to supply enough oxygen into the muscles thus enabling them carry out their functions effectively.

It’s important to talk to a specialist like a psychiatrist if you believe you have ADHD. They can properly assess your symptoms and guide you through the right steps for diagnosis and treatment. Even if you’re not comfortable going to your GP, a psychiatrist is the best person to help with ADHD concerns.

Will I die of valium 5mg 30 pills and Xanax 0.5 30 pills with alcohol

Male | 32

Mixing Valium, Xanax, and alcohol can be extremely dangerous. They all influence the brain to slow down activities, which can result in respiratory difficulties, unconsciousness, and even death. Indications may involve sleepiness, bewilderment, slurred language, and a decrease in respiration. If you've mixed these, look for urgent medical care immediately. It's crucial never to combine these substances because it might be fatal.

I can't sleep properly. It's about 2 weeks I am facing this issue.

Female | 26

For the last two weeks, having difficulty getting to sleep or sticking to sleep could be a symptom of insomnia. This can be brought about by stress, worries, or even eating habits. Try setting a bedtime schedule, for example, going to bed and waking up at the same time every day. Say no to the stimulant beverage and technology before night's sleep. If this doesn't help, it's best to speak with your doctor.

Feeling too sleepy but still not getting sleep

Female | 27

This happens when you're anxious or stressed. Irregular habits play a role too. Caffeine and screen time before bed don't help either. Try a calming routine - read, take a warm bath. Avoid caffeine, screens close to bedtime. Keep a consistent sleep schedule. If it persists, talk to a therapist or counsellor.
