3 weeks post-rhinoplasty, look for residual swelling and the first signs of healing. Swelling and bruises may be less prominent but still present. There might be nasal congestion and any sutures applied externally may also have been removed. Changes to the shape of the nose are observable, but they still develop with time. Contact your plastic surgeon for an evaluation and follow postsurgical care guidelines to ensure a speedy recovery.

After 3 weeks of Rhinoplasty, patients can expect some swelling, bruising, and tenderness, however, this varies depending on the individual's healing process. You should follow all post-operative instructions given by your Plastic surgeon, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and avoid physical activities that may cause harm to the nose for at least 6 weeks.

About a week to two weeks later, the nasal splint is removed.
Three weeks after  rhinoplasty, about 50 to 70 percent of swelling is gone
You will recognize the changes and begins to appreciate the new shape of your nose.
Depending on the surgery and the nose type, it may take upto 6 months sometimes to see the final results.

Swelling and bruising are common after rhinoplasty and may last for several weeks. Most people will see a noticeable difference in the shape of their nose within a few weeks, but it may take up to a year for the final results to be visible.

After rhinoplasty
First week:- swelling near eyes, some bruising, nasal congestion, pain, splint applied

2nd- 3rd week:- swelling goes down still your final nose shape is not apparent, breathing and pain normalised. sutures have already been removed

Management:- taping of nose either full day or at least at night to give ideal appearance to nose tip. Avoid heavy exercises, but you can do your daily work and even go back to work.

Immediately after Rhinoplasty there will be dressing or plaster which will be applied on the nose and there will be swelling seen around the eye. This dressing or plaster is removed after 7 days after surgery and that time the patient can get idea of how the look and feel and final shape of the nose is going to be. There is going to be some swelling. Within these 7-10 days bruising around the eyes will get less. The patient will face some blockage of the nose and they have been told they have to mainly breath from the mouth for next 7-10 days. Then after 3 weeks the swelling completely vanishes from the face. There will be some swelling left on the nose which will take some time to go. The final shape of the nose takes approximately between 1-3 months. but in 3 weeks patients are presentable, they can go out, do light exercises and lead a normal life. Only thing they have to be careful of avoiding any trauma or injury to the nose.
