knee replacement doesn't affect your motor nerves but yes it affects some part of your sensory nerves around your knee joint and you will feel my sensory loss near the medial part of the knee joint after surgery and that will be regained within a span of 2 to 3 months

Knee repalcement or any surgery can affect the superficial sensory nerves around the skin. So patients might feel some areas of numbness on the leg. This is very common

Valgus knees post surgery can have foot drop due to injury or stretching of common peroneal nerve. But its not common

Knee replacement can affect the nerves in the area of the surgery. The most common nerve affected is the common peroneal nerve. This nerve may be injured as it passes around the fibular neck. The injury may cause numbness or weakness on the outside of the leg and foot.

Nerve damage may also occur as a result of knee replacement surgery because the peroneal nerve resides close to the tibia bone. In fact, nerve damage is one reason why some patients with knee replacement complain of persistent lateral knee pain and loss of function.

Consult orthopedists, who will explain you in detail about the complications of knee replacement surgery. Hope our answer helps you.
