My sister has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is 45 years old. The doctor say the cancer has spread to retro pectoral lymph nodes. Suggest some affordable cancer hospital for her treatment.

Hello, Your sister's Breast cancer can be cured. In this case, surgery will be the best option as cancer has spread to the retro-pectoral lymph nodes. The lymph nodes will be removed surgically by the Surgical Oncologist. Now coming to the hospitals, you can either go to government/charitable hospital or a private hospital according to your preference and budget. The benefit of government hospitals is that it will provide you free/affordable cancer treatment but will have a long waiting time and on the other hand, Private hospitals will have premium cost but no waiting time with best facilities. I'd want to ask a few questions about colon cancer. My brother is a colon cancer patient and is undergoing chemotherapy. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and chest pain are usual symptoms.

Chemotherapy always has mild to moderate side effects. Nausea, Vomiting, hyperacidity and weakness are common side effects.

During the chemotherapy sessions and even after it some pre and post Chemotherapy drugs are prescribed to prevent or reduce these side effects. In case of extensive discomfort you should always consult your medical oncologist and seek his/her opinion

In very early cancers I.e stage 1 mucosal - just an excision from inside the stomach is needed. It can be done endoscopically without any sutures or scars. However if it is slightly advanced, then the surgery will be a bit complex as he already has undergone surgery for the esophagus. However if the disease is limited, he should definitely undergo treatment for the stomach cancer .

My masi had whipple surgery in Feb 2021. Since November she has been feeling pain, bloating stomach and cramps but initially she ignored it as it is very common in people. Yes post Whipple surgery pain and discomfort for limited time period is a common complain. A thorough examination and investigations are mandatory if we are suspecting any progression of disease. There are specific Cancer markers which can help us diagnose the condition. Peritoneal Carcinoma has to be ruled out as soon as possible.
